2 Message from Fr. Timothy Pray for the Faithful Departed This week we celebrated the Feast of All Saints and, on the day a er, the commemora on of All the Faithful Departed Souls in purgatory. This is a great moment to remember that the Church is the communion of the saints and the souls in purgatory together with us in the Lord. One of the ways we can help our brothers and sisters in purgatory is by praying for them. The Church gives a plenary indulgence all this week for the souls in purgatory if we visit a cemetery and pray for the dead. Here is what is required to gain a plenary indulgence: From the Enchiridion of Indulgences 13. Visit to a Cemetery (Coemeterii visita o) An indulgence, applicable only to the Souls in Purgatory, is granted to the faithful, who devoutly visit a cemetery and pray, even if only mentally, for the departed. The indulgence is plenary each day from the 1st to the 8th of November; on other days of the year it is par al. Fr. Crafters and Vendors Wanted for the Marmion Christmas Craft Show Marmion Alumni Association is accepting applications for the 28th Annual Christmas Craft Show. The juried craft show will take place on Thanksgiving weekend: Saturday, November 24 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Sunday, November 25 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the Regole Field House and Alumni Hall at Marmion Academy, 1000 Butterfield Road in Aurora.
