4 Page Four Boy Scout Troop 32 ANNUAL Pancake Breakfast Pre-Sale Tickets $5.00 Door Sale Tickets $6.00 Pre-School Age FREE (Includes: Coffee, Milk, or Orange Juice) Saturday - March 16, 2013 (Potato Pancakes Served) 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Sunday - March 17, 2013 (Scrambled Eggs Available) 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM This annual fundraiser is the only fundraiser for Boy Scout Troop 32. Dollars raised support monthly campouts, one week summer camp and scouting actives throughout the year. Troop 32 provides guidance and direction to young boys to become men who are always prepared. St. Leonard Seniors (55+) March Gathering March is a month filled with events and celebrations the first day of Spring, March Madness, Spring Break, and of course, St. Patrick s Day and St. Joseph s Day. The St. Leonard Seniors (55+) are celebrating, too!! You may not be a basketball fan or be interested in a week-long beach party, but we re sure you will enjoy a St. Patrick s Day corned beef sandwich and St. Joseph s Day Sweet Table. Wednesday, March 13, :30 p.m. St. Leonard Rectory Please sign up to attend after all Masses this weekend. (March 9 and 10). There will also be an opportunity to sign up for buffet items according to the proposed menu. (Corned Beef sandwiches will be provided.) Wear your favorite green (St. Patrick) or red (St. Joseph) attire and join the celebration. There will be a $3 charge to cover the cost of the Corned Beef. As always, all St. Leonard Seniors (55+) are welcome! St. Leonard School 14th Annual Bedding Plant Sale May 5, 2013 Looking forward to spring? Want to brighten up your garden with an array of color? We can help you and you can help the school with our annual bedding plant sale. Order forms will be available next week at the back of the church with all the details that will make your garden the envy of your neighbors. Select from over 16 different varieties of annual bedding plants, hanging baskets in a vast array of colors, vegetables and individual potted plants. Choose from Fresh Herbs and new varieties of bedding, hanging and potted plants! Bedding plants are available in full and half flats. Hanging baskets, vegetables and decorative plants are available individually. Don t forget Mom! The beautiful and decoratively wrapped Mother s Day Plant is being offered again this year! 6 Page Six PLEASE PRAY FOR MIA / FAVOR DE REZAR POR MIA Dear St. Leonard parishioners: Our St. Leonard School community recently received the news of one of our kindergarteners, Mia, being diagnosed with Leukemia. Mia is a smart, friendly, and joy-filled child. Her parents, Tim and Deyse are very active in the life of the school and are working hard to keep the school alive and flourishing. We are so grateful to them for sharing their gifts and talents for the good of our school. They are also faith-filled people and are responding to this challenge with grace and determination. They are asking for our prayers for Mia. Please let us pray for all our parishioners who are ill, and in particular for Mia; that the good Lord touch her with his Healing Hand, that she may soon be skipping and singing and studying her lessons, healthy and healed! Thank you for your kindness. Parish Lenten Project Fourth Week of Lent Fostering Community Banking in the Dominican Republic CRS Rice Bowl invites us to learn about the Dominican Republic this week, where CRS helps women form savings and lending communities that help them save money and access small loans for new businesses. Pray for these women who have the courage to start their own businesses, and make a contribution to your Rice Bowl to support people working to provide a better livelihood for their families.
