27 RESULTS Cost-Effectiveness and Economies of Scale - The only intermediary for contracting Health Information Resources for the System. It represents a saving percentage of 25.42% compared with subscription costs if hospitals had continued their individual contracting. - Health resources accessible for small and big hospitals as well as primary health care centres.

35 - Andalusian Goverment has to face this economic crisis. - In spite of the decrease in public funds its policies still favor public health and public investment in health research. - The Andalusian Health e-library becomes the knowledge manager of the system thanks to Government support and professional commitment.

36 HOW CAN WE BE SUSTAINABLE? - Thanks to Government support. - Facing budgetary problems with new strategies: - Dealing more strongly with suppliers: studying carefully our resource collection and having the strength to adapt it to our needs and reduce the prices. Result in 2012: saving 14% from our budget. - Creating new applications thanks to the professional commitment of the staff: Institutional Repository, Specific Subject Areas - Efficient User service which allows the library to be in contact with professionals and maintain a high level of assistance.
