David de la Fuente in the Sport Club s director. VISA INFROMATION Students are responsible for extending their visa. The International Student Office phone number is (from 9 to 18 hrs, Monday to Friday). In order to process the student card application, you need to make an appointment. In order for international students to be legally documented, they need to apply for the student card, thus automatcally extending their visa. Students who have a three-month visa should apply for a nonresidence permit, if their visa expires before their departure from the country. This permit allows students to legally remain in the country, until the end of the course. IMPORTANT The student card is only valid for Legally documented students in Spain. A police certificate does not necessarily guarantee that the student can travel without problems. Students coming from the USA, Canada, Mexico and Brazil can easily obtain a Tourist Visa, valid for 90 days. Even after their visa has expired, those students do not usually have problems getting into Spain. On the other hand, countries whose citizens often face such problems include Russia, Cuba, Colombia, Peru and African countries.
