3 CRAZY 8 s MATH CLUB: PARENTAL PERMISSION FORM Dear Parents/Guardians, Ridgetop has kindly allowed me to offer an after school Math Club. The Crazy 8 s program provides hands-on project-based math. If you would like to learn more about the organization and its mission, please check them If you are interested in your child participating, please fill out the bottom section of this notice and return it to school no later than Thursday, January 31st. I will confirm your enrollment the following day. Student enrollment is capped. The projects are differentiated for age groups, which is why I will be hosting two separate meeting days. The club will kick off in February. Meetings will be held weekly for 8 weeks and if response is positive, I will request a 2 nd 8-week kit to explore more math. Students must be picked up from meetings at 4:15, unless they are going to YMCA or another extended care program. 6 CLUB DE MATEMÁTICAS DE CRAZY 8: FORMULARIO DE PERMISO PARA PADRES Estimados Padres / Guardianes, Ridgetop me ha permitido ofrecer un Club de Matemáticas después de la escuela. El programa Crazy 8 proporciona matemáticas basadas en proyectos prácticos. Si desea obtener más información sobre la organización y su misión, puede consultarlos en Si está interesado en que su hijo/hija participe, complete la sección inferior de este aviso y devuélvala a la escuela a más tardar el jueves 31 de enero. Confirmaré su inscripción al día siguiente. La inscripción de los estudiantes está limitada. Los proyectos se diferencian por grupos de edad, por lo que organizaré dos días de reunión separados. El club comenzará en febrero. Las reuniones se realizarán semanalmente durante 8 semanas y si la respuesta es positiva, solicitaré una 2ª. Kit de 8 semanas para explorar más matemáticas. Los estudiantes deben ser recogidos de las reuniones a las 4:15, a menos que vayan a YMCA u otro programa.
