2 THE EPIPHANY OF THE LORD SECOND COLLECTION This weekend, the Second Collection is our Maintenance & Repair Collection. These funds help with the repair and restoration of the parish buildings. Thank you for your generosity and support. DIOCESAN MISSION Next weekend, January 10-11, the Second Collection is for our Diocesan Mission in Latin America. It enables the Bishop to respond to Mission Appeals from the Society of the Immaculate Conception and various other Mission projects. THE 2015 MASS INTENTION BOOK The Mass Book is open for you to schedule for Mass intentions in Please plan ahead for the dates you wish to arrange. ATTENTION PARENTS! The series sessions for How Do I Help My Children will resume on Tuesday, January 13, The calendar and sign-up notices will be given to each student during the next few classes. LEGION OF MARY The Legion of Mary is a lay catholic organization whose members are giving service to the Church on a voluntary basis in almost every country. It is bilingual and meet in the Convent every Wednesday from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. For infor mation in English contact Edith at Everybody is welcome! YOUNG AT HEART Each week Senior Citizens of our community meet in the Convent to socialize, have a snack, play bingo and enjoy each other s company. We extend this invitation to all Senior Citizens of Blessed Sacrament. On Thursdays the meeting is conducted in English The gathering begins at 1:00pm and goes until 4:00pm. Please join us. May God bless you throughout this New Year ALTAGRACIA CELEBRATION On Sunday, January 19, at the 10:00am Mass, we will celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Altagracia. We invite you to join us for this celebration of the Blessed Mother. Following the Mass, a reception will take place in the School Auditorium. All are welcome. PRAYER AND LIFE WORKSHOP On Tuesday, January 27th, 2015 the Talleres de Oracion y Vida, will start their annual workshop and invite you to attend the 15 week seminar held in the Convent. This workshop is an opportunity for married couples or single adults to enter into a deeper relationship with Jesus through meditation and reflective prayer. VINCENT DE PAUL The St. Vincent the Paul Society would like to thank the parishioners for their generosity during the Thanksgiving season. We collet 20 boxes of can goods that was given to the Marguerite s Pantry. We also collected 13 turkeys from BMW of Manhattan which were given out ti the parishioners in need. God bless you all. Estos fondos nos permiten hacer los arreglos y restauraciones de los edificios de la parroquia. Gracias por su ayuda. MISIONES DE LA DIOCESIS La Segunda Colecta la próxima semana, de Enero, es para las Misiones de la Diócesis en América Latina la cual permite que el Obispo responda a las diferentes Apelaciones Misioneras de la Sociedad de la Inmaculada Concepción y otros varios proyectos Misioneros. LIBRO DE MISAS PARA EL AÑO 2015 ATENCION PADRES DE FAMILIA! A todos los padres con hijos en el 2do año de preparación para Primera Comunión, la serie Como Ayudo a mis Hijos continuará el Martes 13 de enero del El calendario con fechas y horario se entregará a sus hijos en las próximas clases. El Martes 27 de Enero del 2015 comenzarán las reuniones de 7:30pm a 9:30pm en el Convento. Es solo para adultos y dura 15 semanas. Este taller ofrece la oportunidad para parejas casadas y personas solteras que desean mantener una relación más estrecha con Jesús, a través de la meditación y la oración profunda.
