TAKE NOTICE THAT an election shall be held between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M. on May 12,2012 in the District at the regular election precincts of said District, at the polling places, as follows: Polling Place No.1, for those persons residing in District single member board district numbers 1,2,3 and 4: Daingerfield - Lone Star Independent School District Daingerfield, Texas Polling Place No.2, for those persons residing in District single member board district numbers: Lone Star Fire Hall 201 W. Industrial Lone Star, Texas 2. Early voting shall be conducted for all resident voters of the District by personal appearance and by mail at: Daingerfield - Lone Star Independent School District Attention: Rona Elwell, Early Voting Clerk I. D. Parrish Administration Building Daingerfield, Texas and during the period early voting is required or pennitted by law, being April 30, 2012 through May 8, 2012, the hours designated for early voting by personal appearance shall be from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. No early voting will be conducted on Saturdays, Sundays and legal state holidays. The early voting clerks shall keep the early voting place open during such hours for early voting by personal appearance. 3. The election shall be conducted in accordance with the applicable provisions ofthe Texas Election Code (the "Code"), and all resident, qualified electors of the District shall be entitled to vote at the election. The last day to apply for a ballot by mail is May 4, 2012 and requests must be received by the early voting clerk by that date.

At the election the following PROPOSmON shall be submitted in accordance with law: PROPOSITION Shall the Board of Trustees of the Daingerfield-Lone Star Independent School District be authorized to issue the bonds ofthe District, in one or more series, in the aggregate principal arnolmt of $5,469,000 for the purpose ofrenovating, repairing and equipping academic facilities in the District, with the bonds to mature, bear interest, and be issued and sold in accordance with law at the time ofissuance; and shall the Board of Trustees be authorized to levy and pledge, and cause to be assessed and collected, annual ad valorem taxes, on all taxable property in the District. sufficient, without limit as to rate or amount, to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds and the cost of any credit agreements executed in connection with the bonds? 5. La votacion adelantada se llevara a cabo para todos los votantes residentes en el Distrito personaimente y por correo en: Daingerfield-Lone Star Independent School District Attention: Rona Elwell, Early Voting Clerk Daingerfield, Texas y durante el periodo de votaci6n adelantada requerido 0 permitido por la ley, que se extiende desde el30 de abril de 2012 basta el 8 de mayo de 2012, el horario designado para la votaci6n adelantada en persona sera desde las 8:00 a.m. basta las 4:00 p.m. No se llevara a cabo votaci6n adelantada los sabados, domingos y feriados oficiales del estado. En dicha elecei6n se sometera la siguiente PROPOSICI6N de acuerdo con la ley: PROPOSICI6N lse autorizani a Ia Junta de Regentes del Distrito Escolar Independiente de Daingerfield-Lone Star a emitir bonos del Distrito, en una 0 mas series, por un importe total de capital de $5,469,000 para la renovaci6n, reparaci6n y equipamiento de instalaciones academieas en el Distrlto, y dichos bonos devenganin interes a su veneimiento, y se emitinin y venderan de acuerdo con la ley vigente al momento de la emisi6n; y se autorizani a la Junta de Regentes a imponer y prendar, y a hacer que se evaluen y recauden, impuestos ad valorem anuales sobre todas las propiedades gravables en el Distrito, sin Ifmites en cuanto a la tasa 0 el importe, sufieientes para pagar el capital y el interes sobre los bonos y el costo de todo arreglo ereditieio ejeeutado en relaci6n con los bonos? 5.
