2 About us The Castelldefels Film office was established in July 2008, right after the Castelldefels city council joined the Barcelona Catalunya Film Commission. Castelldefels is a town south of Barcelona, between two areas of natural interest: the Llobregat Delta and the Garraf massif. It is a city with a bright future and with deep historical roots. An ancient history that has its most emblematic building in the Castle, of medieval origin, which gives its name to the city. The population of Castelldefels is 60,000 people; the town s main feature is its beach, well equipped, very spacious and recently awarded with the Blue Flag and Q of Quality distinctions. There is a brand new sea front promenade all along the beach, with unique recreational spaces such as the Park of Dunes, which has recovered the original appearance of the Mediterranean beaches, and the Parque del Mar, Plaza de las Palmeras, etc Castelldefels offers all sorts of settings suitable for adds, films, TV shows, etc. In fact, the city has already been in many advertisments as location, weather conditions and other advantages always fit your needs. The CDF Film office provides all the infraestructure you need, we provide easyness on filming. Castelldefels is only a short drive from the Barcelona International airport, and it offers a wide range of accommodation and restaurants.
