Tomorrow I m going to start a new book. It is going to rain, the clouds are dark. Va a llover, las nubes son oscuras. La estructura de esta forma del futuro es la siguiente: Forma afirmativa Sujeto verbo to be going to Infinitivo Significado I am drink Voy a beber You are eat Vas a comer He is jump Él va a saltar She Is going to dance Ella va a bailar It is snow Va a nevar We are play Vamos a jugar You are sing Vais a cantar They are sleep Van a dormir Forma negativa (la negación se hace con la forma del verbo to be) Sujeto verbo to be going to Infinitivo Significado I am not (I m not) going to drink No voy a beber You aren t eat No vas a comer He isn t jump Él no va a saltar She isn t dance Ella no va a bailar It isn t snow No va a nevar We aren t play No vamos a jugar Página 4 de 19

She s coming to my party tomorrow. You open Abrirás. He / she / it will ('ll) go El / ella irá. We drink Beberemos. You read Leeréis. They walk Andarán. Forma negativa I drive No conduciré. You open No abrirás. He / she / it wont go El / ella no irá. We (will + not) drink No beberemos. You read No leeréis. They walk No andarán. Forma interrogativa I drive? Conduciré? you open? Abrirás? Will he / she / it go? Irá el/ ella? we drink? Beberemos? you read? Leeréis vosotros? they walk? Andarán? I ll do the ironing next Sunday. 11 Recuerde be going to Empleamos going to para hablar de intenciones futuras; la acción puede estar lejana o próxima en el tiempo. I m never going to get married. Nunca me voy casar. will Usamos will para una decisión tomada en el momento de hablar: I ll phone you later. Te llamaré después. También para expresar un futuro irremediable. They ll lose the match. I m meeting Henry for lunch on Friday.
