6 Basics a few essentials to get you started Turn it on & off Use the power switch to turn your headset on and off as shown. off Wear it Flex the ear hook and loop it over your ear as shown. Make sure the speaker aligns with your ear canal, and the microphone is pointing towards your mouth. on Your headset comes ready for use on your right ear. To change the ear hook for use on the left ear, just pull off the earhook, turn, and reinstall as shown. 4 Basics

7 Pair & connect connect and go Note: The voice prompts are only in English. 1 Turn off any Bluetooth devices previously paired with your headset. 2 Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your phone. 3 Put the headset on your ear (see Wear it on page 4 for help). 4 Turn on your headset (see Turn it on & off on page 4 for help). The indicator light becomes steadily lit in blue and you hear ready to pair. 5 Follow voice prompts to connect your phone to your headset. Note: When prompted for the passkey, enter When connected, you hear phone connected and see the indicator light rapidly flash in blue and purple. Test your connection 1 Place the headset on your ear. 2 On the phone, dial the number you want to call and press the Call/Send key. If your phone and headset are successfully connected, you hear ringing on the headset. Pair & connect 5

8 For daily use, make sure your headset is turned on, and your phone s Bluetooth feature is on. Your headset and phone will connect automatically. Restore to factory settings Caution: This action erases all pairing information stored in your headset. 1 Turn your headset off. 2 Press and hold the Volume button and Call button together, and turn your phone on - wait until the indicator light is steady blue. 6 Pair & connect

11 Problems? we ve got solutions Note: The voice prompts are only in English. My headset will not enter pairing mode. Make sure that any devices previously paired with the headset are turned off. If the indicator light is flashing in blue, first turn off the other device, then turn the headset off and on. The indicator light becomes steadily lit in blue and you hear ready to pair. My phone doesn't find my headset when searching. Make sure the indicator light on your headset is steadily lit in blue when your phone is searching for devices. If not, press and hold the Call button and Volume button while turning the power on until you hear ready to pair and see the indicator light steady blue. My headset will not pair with my phone. If the indicator light is not steadily lit in blue when your phone is searching for your headset, press and hold the Call button and Volume button while turning the power on until you hear ready to pair and see the indicator light steady blue. This warranty covers shipping expenses, only if it is needed to make the repair. Motorola Mobility Inc. through its own service centers and/or their authorized service centers, at its own discretion, will repair, replace, or reimburse the purchase price of the defective cellular phone only during the warranty period, as long as the Product, in accordance with the conditions established in this warranty, is returned to a Motorola service center or to a Motorola authorized service center. All the accessories, batteries, parts, small boards or equipment of the cellular telephone that by virtue of being defective are replaced in fulfillment of this warranty, will automatically become property of Motorola Mobility Inc. 3. The batteries (Nickel-Cadmium) are warranted only if their capacity is reduced by 80% below its predicted capacity.
