3 Aldeas Infantiles SOS Fue fundada en 1949, en Imst, Austria. por Hermann Gmeiner. Inicia esta obra por su compromiso de ayudar a niños/as necesitados, que habían perdido sus hogares, su seguridad y sus familias como resultado de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. 4 SOS Children s Villages Were founded in 1949, in Imst, Austria, by Hermann Gmeiner. He started this work as his commitment to help children in need, who had lost their homes, their security and their families as a result of the Second World War. 19 The SOS Mother All children sheltered in the SOS Children s Village have, as an emotional reference, one SOS Mother and one SOS Aunt who share their worries, obligations and happiness. The SOS Mother is responsible for the Home and provides the children with love, respect and confidence.
20 Los Hermanos SOS Una familia SOS se compone de: La Madre SOS y de 6 a 8 niños y niñas con discapacidad o sin discapacidad, nunca se separan los hermanos biológicos. Los niños y niñas de distintas edades crecen juntos, reciben cariño y aprenden entre ellos.

26 Nuestra Labor en Chiapas Noviembre del año Inicia la construcción de la Aldea Infantil SOS Tuxtla Gutiérrez para Niños con Necesidades Especiales. Proyecto único en nuestro país, para niños y niñas con Necesidades Especiales. En Octubre del 2003 la Aldea Infantil SOS Tuxtla Gutiérrez, acoge a las primeras 4 familias, integradas por 32 niños y niñas. Aldea Infantil SOS Tuxtla Gutiérrez
27 Our Work in Chiapas The construction of the SOS Village for Children With Special Needs began in November Unique project in our Country for boys and girls with special needs. En Marzo del 2006 visita la Aldea Infantil SOS, El Presidente Internacional de SOSKDI Sr. Helmut Kutin, e inaugura a la Aldea Infantil SOS Incluyente.
29 SOS Children s Village Tuxtla Gutiérrez In December 2003, Princess Salimah Aga Khan, SOS International Ambassador, visited the SOS Children s Village, Tuxtla Gutiérrez. In March 2006, the International President of SOSKDI, Mr. Helmut Kutin, inaugurated the SOS Children s Village Including Children with or without Disabilities.
30 Aldea Infantil SOS Tuxtla Gutiérrez En Mayo 2006 se inicia el proceso de acogida de 4 niños y niñas sin discapacidad hermanos naturales. Julio 2006 son acogidos 6 niños y niñas más. Actualmente en la Aldea Infantil SOS Tuxtla está integrada por nueve familias que acogen a 51 niños y niñas con o sin discapacidad.
31 SOS Children s Village Tuxtla Gutiérrez In May 2006, we initiated a process to shelter 4 natural brothers and sisters without disabilities. From July to October 2006, we sheltered 13 more boys and girls. The SOS Children s Village in Tuxtla Gutiérrez now shelters 59 boys and girls with or without disabilities.

34 Discapacidades: La Aldea Infantil SOS Tuxtla Gutiérrez, puede acoger a un total de 72 niños y niñas sin discapacidad o con discapacidad que vivirán de forma indefinitiva. Parálisis Cerebral Infantil leve, moderado o severo. Déficit Mental leve o moderado (se incluye síndrome de down, williams.) Problemas sensoriales (sordera, ceguera). Problemas congénitos y malformaciones. (escoliasis, mielomenigocele)
35 Disabilities: SOS Children s Village Tuxtla Gutiérrez, can indefinitely shelter a total of 72 boys and girls with or without disabilities. Infantile Cerebral Palsy -moderate or severe. Mental Deficiencies - moderate or severe (Including Down s or Williams Syndrome.) Sensory Problems (deafness, blindness). Congenital and Malformation Problems (scoliosis, spina bifida)
36 Centro de Atención Múltiple.(CAM) Centro Educativo que ofrece educación a niños y niñas con discapacidad. Promueve el desarrollo de aptitudes, conocimientos, y habilidades que favorezcan desarrollo.
37 Multiple Attention Centre (MAC) Education Centre offers education for boys and girls with disabilities. Promotes aptitudes, learning and abilities that favour development.
38 Centro de Atención Múltiple (CAM) 3. Población que se atiende: Niños que viven en la Aldea Infantil SOS y niños de la comunidad.(externos) 4. Los diferentes niveles cubren la estimulación temprana y todos los programas educativos no formales.
39 Multiple Attention Centre (MAC) 3. We attend to: Children who live in SOS Children s Village and outside children from the community. 4. Different levels cover early stimulation and all informal education programs.
40 Centro de Atención Múltiple (CAM) 5. También se desarrolla un programa de escuela para padres con el que se ofrece una capacitación sistemática y continua que permite brindar a los niños una atención adecuada y apoyo dentro del hogar.
41 Multiple Attention Centre (MAC) 5. We also develop systematic training programs for parents to continue to give the children attention at home.
42 Talleres Vocacionales (CAM) 1. Talleres vocacionales Son talleres en los cuales los jóvenes aprenden un oficio (cerámica, manualidades, etc.) 2. Inserción laboral. Adquiridas las habilidades y conocimientos vocacionales, se inicia con el joven un proceso de colocación laboral.
