Course General description of the subject Curricular activity to develop in students the abilities to understand and participate in the basic processes of management and administration of health services, specifically those concerning to care and nursing services. The learning activities are designed to emphasize communicative skills and self-learning. Take into account that competences are not acquired entirely when studying the subject, but the subject s development helps to acquire them. Competences Ability to work in group Ability to accept responsibility for the own professional development and learning, even using the evaluation to reflect and improve their own performance. Ability to plan and organize the provision of caring in different contexts depending on the customer s needs and the existing conditions. Ability to question, evaluate, interpret and synthesize critically the appropriate information of the data sources in order to facilitate the patient s choice, to take and make clinical decisions, although a standard framework quality is ensured. 1

2 OBJECTIVES The learning objectives are the precision of knowledge, skills and attitudes to be developed and acquired as a consequence of its learning-teaching process which is planned. (30%) Preparation of a nursing project in a Health service Oral and written presentation of the project in class. The oral one should be presented in audiovisual format (30%) Exam test like (40%) Theoretical basis of leadership. The leadership techniques and group management. 4 METHODOLOGY Methodological decisions represent the section where students must know what to learn. The central element of this section is the learning-teaching activities. At the end of each seminar there will be a joint assessment student and teacher EVALUATION OF THE COURSE It is a continuous and cumulative evaluation of the subject teaching period 1st. Semester of the academic year To achieve the final evaluation will be considered the three blocks in which the student must participate in methodological 1. participation in classroom and in seminars (a note 30) 2. Preparation and exposure to the writing of a classroom-management (groupware), Cuidatges (with a note 30) 3. multiple choice test of all matter of (with 40 of the final note). IMPORTANT: to have the course passed must be approved separately by the three methodological blocks, with a note at least five (5). 4
