1 Supply List Students will need the following items to have a successful year in fifth grade: 4 composition notebooks. 1 flexible binder/ folder with loose sheets of paper. black pens (NO BLUE PENS) 1 eraser Sharpener with eraser Several pencils (please try not to buy lead pencils) Remember these need to be replenished throughout the year. 1 pencil/pen pouch. Students need to line up on the court, at their assigned line, every morning. (Matos-line 27; Smith line 28) 2. Absences- Excessive unexcused absences will be reported to the State Attorney s office. Home Learning: Students will receive home learning assignments everyday. In addition to assignments students must spend an additional 30 minutes reading a book or magazine. 4. Parent Teacher Association (P.T.A) - Room Parents Classroom will select 2 parents who will serve as room parents; assisting teachers with field trips and miscellaneous activities during the school year. (Parent are required to fill out a Volunteer Application and be cleared) 5. FCAT/ Curriculum- attached you will find some of the grade level expectation from the state that may be assessed. Recogidas Tempranas: Ningún estudiante se podrá recoger después de las 2:30 p.m. Por favor recuerden que cuando se recoge un estudiante temprano, esta faltando a la introducción de una materia muy importante y puede afectar el grado de ese sujeto. 3. Tarea: Estudiantes reciben tarea todos los días. En adición a esta tarea deben de leer un libro o revista por 30 minutos. 4. Asociación de Padres (P.T.A.): Padres puede ser voluntarios en el colegio y para excursiones fuera de la escuela. Padres que pueden asistir en clase serán asignados a un aula. Los Padres necesitan llenar un aplicación para participar como voluntarios. 5. FCAT / Currículum: Adjunto encontraran el contenido del estado que puede ser examinados en el FCAT.
