4 ENGLISH 3 CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS 1. SEARCH MODE BUTTON Press this button to toggle the function of the JOG WHEEL between fast search mode (the LED is lit) and normal mode. The fast search function is automatically turned off when the JOG WHEEL is not used for morethan15seconds. PLAY MODE: normally the JOG WHEEL is used as pitch bend tool to synchronize the beats of the playing track to another track. When the fast search mode is turned on, you can use the JOG WHEELto search very quickly forward /backward insidethecurrenttrack. PAUSE MODE: normally the JOG WHEELis used to search very precisely (1 frame precision) for the exact cue point.when the fast search mode is turned on, you can use the JOG WHEEL to search very quickly forward/backward inside the current track. 2. CARD SELECTBUTTON Select which card will be active and the relational LED will be lit. The function can only be selectedunderpausemode. 3.SEAMLESS LOOP (See basic operation for more information.) A BUTTON Allow you to set the cue point without stopping the playback (CUE ON THE FLY). This button also sets the beginning of a seamless loop. When the button contains a cue pointitlightsup. B/EXIT BUTTON Used to set the endpoint when looping music. The point where you press the button will be memorized as an endpoint of the loop. The player starts to loop seamlessly untilyoupressthisbuttonagaintoexit. RELOOP BUTTON When a loop is programmed but not activeyoucan also restarttheloop. pressthereloopbuttonto entertheloopagain.toexitthelooppressestheoutbutton. 4. LCD DISPLAY This high quality LCD display indicates all the functions, as they are occurring.the display ICONS will beexplainedinthenextsection. 5. TAP/BPM BUTTON The unit has a full automatic BPMcounter. In some rare cases the automatic beat counter doesn't count as it should do (beat are out of the normal range or there' s simply no beat to detect). In these cases you can help the beat counter by manually tapping this button to the rhythm of the beat.seebasicoperationformoreinformation. 6. PITCH SLIDER This slider is used to adjust the playback pitch percentage when the PITCH function is activated. The slider is a set adjustment and will remain set until the pitch slider is moved or the PITCH function has been turned off. The maximum pitch range of the slider is +/-16%. This adjustment can be made with or without a SD card in the slot. The pitch adjustmentwillremainevenifasdcardhasbeenremoved,and will reflect on any other SD card loaded into the unit. That is to say, if you set a +2% pitch on one SD card, remove that card and insert another, that card will also have a +2% pitch. The amount of pitch being applied will be displayed in the LCD. Use this slider to match the BPM s of this unit to that of another music source. By changing the pitch of one SD with respect to the otherinthisway,thebeatscanbematched. 7. SD CARD SLOT Gently insert a SD card into the slot. PresstheSDcardwhileinPause/CuemodetoejecttheSDcard. 8. TIME BUTTON The TIME button switches between elapsed playing time and remain time in a track. The default modeisremaintime. 9. FOLDER BUTTON Use to switch between FOLDER and TRACK search modes. When the LED of FOLDER button is lit, the player is in the FOLDER search mode, otherwise it is in TRACKsearchmode. *File name is the first display when select a track and Folder nameisthefirstdisplaywhenselectafolder. 10. TRACK KNOB Use this knob to select track or folder, dependingonthesetwodifferentmodesasbelow. In TRACK mode, use to select a track. Turning track knob will navigate between tracks. Holding down and turning track knob will rapidly forward / back skip through the tracks by 10 tracksperclick. In FOLDER mode, turning track knob will forward / back skip between folders. You can also switch between displaying Folder Name/FILE NAME/TITLE/ARTIST/GENRE/ BITRATE for easy searching by each pressing the TRACK button. Release the TRACK button when you see the information you want to keep on the display. You can find more information in basic operation paragraph. 11. PITCH ON/OFF BUTTON Use to turn the PITCH SLIDERfunctiononandoff.WhenON,thebuttonwillglow. 12. PITCH SELECT BUTTON Press the button in order to change pitch percentage of 4%,8%,16%. When the pitch range isselected,therelatedledwillglow. 13. PITCH BEND BUTTONS The speed rises while the +button is pressed and returns to the original pitch when the button is released. The speed drops when the button is pressed and returns to the original pitch when the button is released. These buttons can be used to synchronize the beats of 2tracks. 14. SEARCHBUTTONS This search button allows you to quickly scan backwards throughatrack. This search button allows you to quickly scan forwards throughatrack. 15. PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON Every time you press the PLAY/PAUSE button the player changes from play to pause or from pause to play. The button blinks as long as the player is set topause. 16. CUE BUTTON Pressing the CUE button during playback provides an immediate return to the position at which play was started. Playback starts immediately from the programmed cue point for as long as the CUE button is pressed. The SD player jumps back to the cue point as soon as the CUE button is released. Also with the unit in pause mode (Play/Pause button blinks) the jog wheel is used to set a different start point. By pressing PLAY/PAUSE" or IN button followed by "CUE", youcanconfirmthisnewcuepoint. 17.JOG WHEEL This jog wheel serves 3 functions depending on the mode you are working in. The jog wheel acts as a slow frame search (1/75 sec) control when the SD is not playing but either paused or set to a cue point.to set a new cue point, spin the wheel then press PLAYor IN when you have determined the proper position. Press CUE toreturntothe CUEPOINT. If the track is playing and this search function is not active, the jog wheel temporarily bends the pitch of the music up to+/- 100% by rotating the wheel clockwise to speed it up or counterclockwise to slow it down. The amount of pitch change isdeterminedbythespeedofrotation. If the search function is active, you will be able to search at a higherspeedthroughallthetracks. 18. POWER SWITCH button It is used to switch the power on/ standby.when power cord plug into the rear socket to be the STANDBYmode, all LED are off but STANDBYLED. (a) In the STANDBYmode, press power button to POWER ON, InsertCard is displayed in the LCD, SD1 LED will glow red andsd2ledwillglowgreen. (b) In the POWER ON mode, press and hold the power button morethan2sec.tostandby. 19. TEMPO LOCK BUTTON This button is used to choose the tempo lock mode and the pitch control mode. Tempo lock mode allows speeding up or slow down playback speed without alteringthetonalityofmusic. 20. SGL/CTN BUTTON You can choose between single trackmode and continuousplay. Continuous play: the complete SD will be played without interruption.(mostlyusedinpubs) Single track: player stops at the end of each track and waits at the beginning of the next track. (Mostly used by deejays) Push thesgl/ctnbuttonformorethan1secondtoswitchbetween normal and auto cue mode. See basic operation for more information. 21. POWER CONNECTOR Plug in power adapter here. It is aswitchingadaptertosuitabletoeachvoltage. 22. FADER START This connection allows two SD players to be linked for relay play. This can also be connected to a mixingboardthatsupportsautomaticfaderstart. 23. AUDIO OUTPUTS Output for the audio signals is from each player. Use the supplied cinch/cinch cables to connect theseoutputstothecd/lineinputsofyourmixingunit.

5 DISPLAY LCD SD2 LED is on in the player B. At the same time, the LED1 and LED2 for SD1 and SD2 in the middle of frontpanel will display as below: LED1 is on means the input source assigned to playerais active CUE INDICATOR This indicator will glow when the device is in CUE mode and will flash every time a new CUE POINTis set. 2. FOLDER INDICATOR Indicates the number of the currently playing folder. 3. TIME BAR INDICATOR Shows either time remaining or elapsed depending on the setting of the TIME BUTTON. This bar will begin to flash shortly before the end of a track. The flashing bar is a great visual reminder a track is about to end regardless of which time mode the unit is. 4. BPM STATUS This will indicate that theauto BPM counter is active. 5. PITCH METER Indicates the percentage of a track's pitch. 6. BPM METER Indicates the BPM value of the currently playing track. 7.TEMPO LOCK Indicates if the tempo lock is activated (lock symbol). 8. LOOP INDICATOR Indicates if LOOPfunction is activated. 9. RELOOP INDICATOR Indicates if a loop has been set which can be activated with the Reloop function ("Reloop"). 10. AUTO CUE STATUS Indicates if Auto Cue is activated ("AUTO CUE"). Press and hold the SGL/CTN for 1 sec. to turn theauto Cue function on and off. 11.TIME DISPLAY Indicates the time of the chosentime mode in minutes, seconds and frames. 12. SD INFORMATION INDICATOR Indicates the current name of the track, of the folder and the sampling rate. 13. TIME MODE Indicates the elapsed time of a track ("ELAPSED") or the remaining time of a track ("Remain"). Change between these two modes with thetime button. 14. REPEATINDICATOR Indicates whether the unit is in REPEATED play mode. 15. SINGLE INDICATOR Indicates whether the play mode is set to single ("SINGLE") or continuous mode (no display). 16.TRACK INDICATOR Indicates the number of the currently playing track. 17. PLAY/PAUSE INDICATOR Indicates the device play mode (" "), if the player is in pause mode (" "). 11 LED2 is on means the input source assigned to player B is active. 2. CARD SELECT There is a CARD SELECT key to select the card playback in each PLAYER by your desires. You have two different choices as below: (a) THE SAME CARD PLAYBACK To play the same card in both player A and player B; insert the card into either SD1 or SD2 slot. Press the CARD SELECT and both SD1 LEDs in the player panel are on when card is in SD1 slot; either does when card is in SD2 slot. (b) TWO CARDS PLAYBACK Each SD slot inserts a card to play. 3. CHANGE CARD DURING PLAYBACK It must in the pause mode, to press the CARD SELECT key you can select the other card. It will no function when in the play mode. ENGLISH OPERATION CARD SELECT functions 1. LED DISPLAYTO CARD SELECTING Switch on the power and the relational LED goes out. Whether you have inserted SD card or not, the default for SD card selection is as below: SD1 LED is on in the playera. 4

6 AUTO CUE This function will automatically set a cue point to the first music note of each track. If a new track is selected, a new CUE POINT will be set to reflect the new starting point. Push the SGL/CTN button for more than 1 second, you can switch between normal and AUTO CUE mode. (1) Press PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON to activate playback mode. SETTING A CUE POINT ENGLISH Acue point is the exact point playback will begin when the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON is pressed.acue point may be created anywhere on a SD or in a track. SEAMLESS LOOP (1) You may press the A BUTTON on the fly (while the SD is playing). This will set a CUE Point without music interruption. Pressing the CUE BUTTON will now return you to the same point that you pressed the A BUTTON. Pressing the CUE BUTTON will now return you to this exact point. (2) You may also use the SEARCH KNOB to set a cue point. While a SD is in PAUSE or CUE mode, use the SEARCH KNOB to scroll through a track to find your desired starting point. Once you have found your desired position press the PLAY BUTTON to set your cue point. Pressing the CUE BUTTON will return you to this exact point. (3) You may also use the jog Wheel to set a cue point. While a SD is PAUSE or CUE mode, use the jog Wheel to scroll through a track and find your desired starting point. Once you have found your desired CUE point press the play Button to set your cue point. Pressing the cue Button will now return you to this exact point. 1- CREATINGAND PLAYINGASEAMLESS LOOP A seamless loop is a sound loop that plays continuously without sound interruption. You can use this loop to create dramatic effect in your mixing. This loop has no time limit and you could actually loop the entire length of SD.You create a seamless loop between two continuous points of a SD. (2) Press the A BUTTON. This will set the starting point of the SEAMLESS LOOP. The A BUTTON LED will blink. (3) Press the B/EXIT BUTTON to set the ending point for your SEAMLESS LOOP. The A BUTTON and B/EXIT BUTTON LEDs will immediately begin to flash rapidly, indicating the SEAMLESS LOOP mode has been activated. 2-EXITINGALOOP To exit a SEAMLESS LOOP, press the B/EXIT BUTTON. The A BUTTON and B/EXIT BUTTON LEDs will remain on, but will stop flashing. Music playback will resume normal play. The A BUTTON, B/EXIT BUTTON LEDs and RELOOP/LOOP indicator in the LCD will remain on to remind you that a loop is stored in memory. 3. REPLAY LOOP The RELOOP function allows you to return to your stored loop at any time. The A BUTTON and B/EXIT BUTTON LEDs will indicate a loop is stored in memory, and may be played at any time. To replay the loop, press the RELOOP BUTTON. The A BUTTON and B/EXIT BUTTON LEDs will again begin to flash indicating SEAMLESS LOOP mode has been activated and your stored loop will immediately begin to play. 5

7 EDITING A SEAMLESS LOOP TRACKS KNOB FUNCTION Has three functions as below: You can edit your seamless loop you obviously must first have created a seamless loop to edit. If you haven t created a SEAMLESS LOOP, follow the instructions in step 1 to create a loop. 1- Edit a seamless loop s ending point: You can edit the end point of the loop to make your loop shorter or longer. Make sure the loop that you want to edit is not in reloop mode. Turn the JOG WHEEL clockwise/counterclockwise or press search buttons to make the loop shorter/ longer. Press the B button to set the new ending point of your loop. 2- Edit a seamless loop s starting point: You can edit the starting point of the loop to make your loop shorter. Under the reloop mode, turn the JOG WHEEL clockwise or press search buttons to make the loop shorter. Please make sure the new starting point must before the ending point. Press the A button to set the new ending point of your Loop. 3- Reset a loop: You can reset a new loop under the play or pause mode. Whenever you find a more desired starting point press the A button, the LED of B button will go out. Find a new ending point and press the B button to set the ending point of your new loop. STUTTER EFFECT You can use your loop to create a stutter effect. When a loop is playing press the A BUTTON repeatedly to create this effect. 1- TRACK SEARCH When FOLDER LED is off, left turning the TRACK knob to backward search and forward search on the right turn. You can select the desired up to 999 tracks in a folder. A-Turning the track knob counterclockwise will take you to the previous track. B- Turning the track knob clockwise will take you to the to the next track. A 2- FOLDER SEARCH When FOLDER LED is on, to select folder number by turning the TRACK knob.you can select the desired up to 999 folders. A-Turning the track knob counterclockwise will take you to the previous track. B- Turning the track knob clockwise will take you to the to the next track. A 3- VIEW THE CONTENT OFTITLE: You can view the title content of FOLDER NAME/FILE NAME/TITLE NAME/ ARTIST/ GENRE/ BITRATE by each pressing the TRACK knob. Displayed Folder Name is for folder contents. Displayed FILE NAME is for file contents. Displayed TITLE NAME is for title contents. Displayed ARTIST is for artist contents. Displayed GENRE is for genre contents. Displayed bitrate contents directly. Note: Each display for 20 sec. It will auto return to TITLE NAME when no action more than 20 sec. TAP BPM FUNCTION B B ENGLISH AUTO BPM is the default mode when power on. You can switch Manual /Auto BPM by pressing the TAP BPM button. 6

8 ENGLISH Notice: Switch Manual BPM on just need one touch the button. Switch Auto BPM on by pressing the TAP BPM button more than 1 sec. and then the LCD will display AUTO BPM. 1- Manual BPM: Following the music tempo and press the TAP BPM button to count BPM value; from the auto BPM to manual mode, the value won t change until the correct BPM value is counted. 2-Auto BPM: Counting BPM value automatically without pressing TAP BPM button. In AUTO BPM mode the SD2DIGITAL player will automatically analize the track Beat and will depict the value at the Display without need of taping the TAPBPM knob. SYSTEM SETTING Press the TIME BUTTON for 2 sec. until "PRESET " is displayed. Note: System setting will be closed automatically when more than 5 sec no function. Turn the TRACK KNOB to scroll through the different submenus including: REPEAT, Reset all, and, FIRMWARE VERSION. CONTROLVERSION DISPLAY You can view the units firmware version. RESET In the Reset all? section, you may reset the system memory. This will reset all your programmed menus and restore the unit to its default settings. Press the TRACK knob will return all function setting to default value automatically and then "reset OK" will display in the LCD.

Escoja una posición para el cable de corriente de modo que esté lo menos expuesto a pisotones y demás agresiones. Especial atención con los dos extremos del cable de toma de corriente, la clavija de enchufe a la red y la clavija de alimentación del equipo. 11. Limpieza. Desconecte el equipo antes de realizar alguna operación de limpieza del aparato. Utilice un trapo suave y seco para limpiar. Asegúrese de que los cables están correctamente conectados antes de volver a enchufar el aparato. 12. Control de seguridad. La diferencia de potencial entre la toma de corriente de la pared y cualquier pieza metálica del equipo debe ser de al menos ohmios. 13. Periodos largos de reposo del equipo. Desconecte el equipo de la red en caso de reposo prolongado. 15. Daños en el quipo que precisen reparación. El equipo deberá ser reparado o revisado por personal cualificado en caso de: A. El cable de toma de corriente o su conector han sido dañados. B. Objetos o líquidos se han introducido en el equipo. C. El aparato ha sido expuesto a la lluvia. D. El equipo no parece funcionar o lo hace de modo poco usual. E. El aparato ha caído al suelo o presenta deterioros en su caja exterior. 16. Mantenimiento. No abra el equipo para labores de mantenimiento pues en este aparato no hay piezas que necesiten manutención. En caso de que abriendo el equipo sea éste dañado o lo sea la persona que lo manipula la empresa no tomará ninguna responsabilidad por este servicio de mantenimiento no autorizado. Además en éste caso la garantía perdería su vigencia. 17. Ventilación. El aparato está provisto de hendiduras de ventilación, es importante no cubrirlas o bloquearlas. La ventilación del aparato podría verse comprometida resultando en un sobrecalentamiento que podría dañar el equipo. Tenga siempre en cuenta que colocar el aparato en un lugar sin ventilación puede producir un sobrecalentamiento de éste. 18. Nunca utilice accesorios o modificaciones no autorizados por el fabricante. Ello puede afectar la seguridad del aparato y el fabricante no tendrá ninguna responsabilidad en este caso. 19. Accesorios. No deposite o instale el equipo sobre superficies o estructuras inestables. El aparato podría precipitarse y causar lesiones a las personas en las proximidades de éste. Cualquier montaje o instalación del equipo deberá ser realizado siguiendo las instrucciones o recomendaciones dadas en este manual o por el fabricante directamente. 20. Precaución durante tormentas. Durante una tormenta desconecte el equipo de la red para evitar que los posibles picos de corriente dañen el equipo. 21. Durante cualquier manipulación del equipo, para mantener todas las cualidades de éste tanto en prestaciones como en seguridad para el operante es necesario utilizar sólo recambios originales. Consecuentemente asegúrese de que la empresa que realice el mantenimiento esté autorizada por el fabricante o importador. 22. Comprobación de seguridad. Una vez realizada una reparación o servicio del equipo pida al personal cualificado que realice una comprobación para asegurarse de que el equipo le es devuelto en perfectas condiciones de uso. ESPAÑOL 14. Líquidos y objetos extraños. En caso de que algún fluido o pequeñas partículas sólidas sean derramadas sobre el aparato y se introduzcan en los circuitos apague el aparato y llévelo a su distribuidor. 8

11 CONTROLES Y FUNCIONES 1 Botón Search: Cambia la velocidad de búsqueda de la rueda o Jog Wheel. Al presionar el botón el modo de búsqueda pasa de normal a rápida - en modo rápido se enciende el LED -. Si al cabo de 15 segundos no utilizamos la rueda de búsqueda el control Search pasa automáticamente a modo normal. - En modo PLAY: La rueda de búsqueda o Jog Wheel se usa normalmente para modificar la velocidad de reproducción en un sentido u otro para cuadrar dos pistas. La velocidad de búsqueda dependerá del modo del control Search 1. - En modo PAUSE: La rueda de búsqueda o Jog Wheel se usa normalmente para realizar una búsqueda de precisión por pequeñas fracciones o frames de la pista. La velocidad de búsqueda de precisión dependerá del modo del control Search (1). 2 Selección targeta SD: Le permite seleccionar entre las dos tarjetas SD disponibles. Para realizar la selección el aparato debe estar en modo Pausa. 3 Seamless Loop o Loop sin interrupción: - BotónA: Le permite seleccionar un punto Cue sin interrumpir la reproducción. A este tipo de selección de Cue se la llama Hot Cue o Cue on the fly. Además le permite seleccionar el punto de inicio de un bucle o Loop. El LED se ilumina cuando se ha seleccionado un punto Cue o inicio de bucle. - Botón B/EXIT: Establece el punto final del bucle, al presionar el botón B/EXIT el aparato reproduce el bucle o Loop editado sin interrupción. Al presionar B/EXIT otra vez salimos del bucle y continua la reproducción normal. - Botón RELOOP: Cuando un bucle está memorizado pero no está siendo reproducido podemos reproducirlo en cualquier momento presionando el botón Reloop. Al presionar B/EXIT salimos del bucle y continua la reproducción normal. 4 Display: Indica las funciones tal como se van activando/ desactivando. Los iconos se explicarán más adelante. 5 Control TAP/BPM: Se dispone de un analizador digital de Beat Automático. También podemos determinar el Beat manualmente presionando el botón en sincronía con el Beat que escuchamos. 6 Selector de Pitch: Cuando la función Pitch está activada este control nos permite determinar el valor de Pitch en modo de porcentaje. El porcentaje de Pitch seleccionado permanecerá hasta que seleccionemos otro valor o desactivemos la función Pitch. El rango máximo de modificación de Pitch es +/- 16%. El ajuste de Pitch se puede realizar aun no habiendo ninguna tarjeta SD en el lector y su valor permanece aunque cambiemos la tarjeta SD. En el display podemos ver el porcentaje de Pitch seleccionado. Utilice el control Pitch para igualar el valor de BPM de las pistas que desea mezclar. 7 Ranura para tarjeta SD: Introduzca la tarjeta con cuidado. En modo Pausa/Cue presione la tarjeta para extraerla. 8 Botón Tiempo: Cambia el modo Tiempo reproducido (Elapsed) / Tiempo Restante (Remain). Por defecto estamos en modotiempo Restante (Remain). 9 Botón Carpeta (FOLDER): selecciona el modo de operación del control (10) entre Carpeta y Pista. Con el LED iluminado estamos en modo Carpeta y al manipular el control (10) podemos seleccionar las distintas carpetas de nuestra tarjeta SD. En modo Carpeta el display indica el nombre de la carpeta seleccionada, en modo Pista el display indica el nombre de la Pista seleccionada. 10 Control Pista o TRACK: permite seleccionar Carpetas o Pistas según la selección con el control (9). - Modo Pista: nos permite seleccionar pistas en la tarjeta SD. Girando el control hacia la derecha avanzamos pistas girando a la izquierda retrocedemos pistas. Realizando la misma operación con el botón TRACK presionado avanzamos/retrocedemos de 10 en 10 pistas. - Modo Archivo o FOLDER: nos permite seleccionar carpetas en la tarjeta SD. Girando el control hacia la derecha avanzamos girando a la izquierda retrocedemos. Presionando el botón TRACK podemos selecciona la información que aparecerá en el display; Folder Name/FILE NAME / TITLE / ARTIST/GENRE/BITRATE. Donde; Folder Name es el nombre de la carpeta, FILE NAME es el nombre del archivo, TITLE es el título, ARTIST el autor, GENRE el tipo de género musical, BITRATE es el valor BPM. Al ver en el display la información deseada dejamos de presionar el botón TRACK y ésta permanece en el display. 11 Botón Pitch ON/OFF: Activa / desactiva la función Pitch.Al estar activa el LED se ilumina. 12 Selección de PITCH: Presione el botón para variar el rango de Pitch desde 4%, 8%, 16%. El LED indicador de cada rango se ilumina cuando el rango está activo. 13 PITCH Bend: Los botones +/- aceleran y deceleran la reproducción al ser presionados, la velocidad de reproducción vuelve a su valor normal al dejar de presionar el botón. Este control es útil para sincronizar pistas. 14 Botones SEARCH: Nos permiten desplazarnos rápidamente por una pista hacia delante o hacia atrás según el botón presionado. 15 Botón PLAY/PAUSE: Presione el botón para activar o pausar la reproducción. En modo Pausa el LED se ilumina. 16 Botón CUE: Al presionar CUE durante la reproducción el lector se posiciona inmediatamente en el punto en que se comenzó la reproducción, en modo Pausa. Si volvemos a presionar CUE el lector reproduce la pista desde este punto mientras mantengamos el botón presionado, al soltarlo volvemos al punto inicial y el lector se sitúa en modo Pausa. Estando en modo Pausa (el botón PLAY/PAUSE parpadea) podemos utilizar la rueda de búsqueda para realizar un búsqueda de precisión trozo a trozo (trozo=frame=1/75segundos). Para confirmar el nuevo punto Cue deberemos presionar el botón PLAY/PAUSE o el botón A seguido del botón CUE. 17 Rueda de Búsqueda o JOG WHEEL: Tiene tres posibles funciones: - En modo PAUSE o CUE la rueda nos permite realizar una búsqueda de precisión. Al mover la rueda avanzamos/retrocedemos en pequeños fragmentos de canción de una duración de 1/75 segundos. A esto lo llamamos búsqueda por frames. Este modo es ideal para seleccionar puntos Cue con gran precisión. Para memorizar un punto Cue utilice la rueda para buscar el punto y presione el botón PLAY/PAUSE o el botóna. - En modo PLAY o reproducción moviendo la rueda aceleramos/deceleramos la reproducción. La velocidad con la que giramos la rueda determina la velocidad con la que avanzamos/retrocedemos. - Al activar la función SEARCH (1) la búsqueda se realiza a mayor velocidad. 18 Botón ON/OFF: Se utiliza para poner en marcha y apagar el reproductor. Al conectar el cable de alimentación el equipo estará en modo STAND BY, en modo STAND BY sólo el LED del botón ON/OFF está iluminado. - En modo STAND BY presione el botón ON/OFF para encender el reproductor, en el display aparece InsertCard. SD1 se ilumina en rojo y SD2 en verde. - En modo ON, al presionar el botón ON/OFF durante más de 2 segundos pasamos a modo STAND BY. 19 Tempo Lock: Con el Tempo Lock activado podemos cambiar el Pitch (velocidad de reproducción) de una canción sin modificar las notas. De este modo evitamos el efecto voz Mickey Mouse al acelerar la reproducción. 20 Botón SGL/CTN: SGL es por Single o reproducción de una sola canción. CTN es por Continuous o reproducción contínua de todas las pistas o canciones. Presione el botón SGL/CTN durante más de 1 segundo para pasar del modo Auto Cue al modo Manual Cue. + info en página 5 21 Conector de alimentación o POWER: Conecte aquí su alimentador externo. Asegúrese de que el voltaje es el adecuado. 22 Fader Start o Arranque Remoto por Fader: Nos permite conectar dos unidades SD2DIGITAL para reproducción alternada y nos permite activar el reproductor mediante el fader del mezclador en caso de que este disponga de la función Fader Start. 23 Conectores de Audio: Son las salidas para cada uno de los dos reproductores del SD2DIGITAL. Utilice los cables proporcionados para conectar su unidad SD2DIGITAL al mezclador. 10 ESPAÑOL

12 DISPLAY LCD LED SD2 activo en el reproductor B. Al mismo tiempo, en la zona de inserción de las tarjetas SD el LED SD1 se enciende cuando hemos asignado una pista al reproductora Así mismo el LED SD2 se enciende cuando hemos asignado una pista al reproductor B. ESPAÑOL 1 Indicador CUE: El indicador se ilumina cuando estamos en modo CUE. El indicador parpadea cada vez que editamos un nuevo punto CUE. 2 IndicadordeArchivo o FOLDER: indica el número delarchivo o Folder en reproducción. 3 Barra Indicadora de Tiempo: Indica visualmente en forma de barra horizontal el tiempo reproducido o restante de pista en función del modo seleccionado mediante el botón TIME. La barra horizontal parpadeará unos instantes antes de terminar la reproducción de la pista. La referencia visual que nos proporciona la barra horizontal puede ser de gran utilidad para conocer en cada momento en que punto de la pista estamos reproduciendo. 4 Estado de BPM: Indica que el modoauto BPM está activo. 5 IndicadorvalorPITCH: Informa del porcentaje de Pitch aplicado. 6 IndicadorBPM: Indica el valor de BPM de la pista en reproducción. 7 Tempo Lock: Indica que la función Tempo Lock está activa. 8 IndicadorLOOP: Indica que la función Loop está activada. 9 Indicador RELOOP: Indica que se ha creado un Loop (bucle). Este Loop puede ser activado mediante el botón RELOOP. 10 Modo Auto CUE: Indica si el modo Auto Cue está activado. Mantenga presionado el botón SGL/CNTdurante más de un segundo para activar/desactivar la funciónauto Cue. 11 Indicador de Tiempo: Indica el tiempo en minutos, segundos, frames según el modo escogido. 12 SD INFORMATION INDICATOR: Indica el nombre de la pista, el del archivo y el Sampling Rate *. 13 Modo detiempo: Indica el modo de tiempo seleccionado mediante el botóntime (8). 14 REPEAT INDICATOR: Indica si la unidad está en modo Repeat, se repite la reproducción de todas las pistas de una carpeta o FOLDER. 15 Single: Nos indica si estamos en modo de reproducción Single (una pista) o Continuo (reproducción de todas las pistas). En caso de estar en modo Continuo no veremos indicación en el display. 16 IndicadordeTRACK o Pista: Indica el número de la pista en reproducción. 17 Indicador de PLAY/PAUSE: Indica si estamos en modo Reproducción o Pausa en función de los símbolos. 2. Selección de Tarjeta SD: Cada reproductoray B dispone de un botón CARD SELECT que nos permite asignar las tarjetas SD 1 y SD2 a cada uno de los reproductores. (a) Reproducción de la misma Tarjeta SD: Para reproducir el contenido de una misma tarjeta en ambos reproductores A y B inserte una tarjeta SD en cualquiera de las dos ranuras SD1 o SD2. Presione el botón CARD SELECT tal que si la tarjeta está en SD1 ambos reproductores A y B son asignados a SD1 y el LED se enciende. En caso de que la tarjeta esté en SD2 deberemos asignar cada reproductor a SD2 mediante el botón CARD SELECT. (B) Reproducción de Tarjetas SD distintas: Inserte las tarjetas en las ranuras y asigne a reproductorao B mediante el botón CARD SELECT. 3. Cambio de Tarjeta SD durante la reproducción: Primero debemos situarnos en modo PAUSA, utilice el botón CARD SELECT para seleccionar la tarjeta que no va a reemplazar. El reproductor funcionará con la tarjeta que permanece en su ranura o slot. FUNCIONAMIENTO FUNCIONES DE SELECCIÓN DE TARJETA SD 1. Indicadores LED: Ponga en marcha el equipo, observará que independientemente de haber insertado una tarjeta SD la configuración de los LEDs es tal como sigue: LED SD1 activo en el reproductora. 11

13 AUTO CUE Un punto CUE es creado automáticamente en el comienzo de cada pista. Este punto CUE se crea sin interrupción de la música. Si seleccionamos otra pista un punto CUE se crea automáticamente al principio de ésta (exactamente en la primera nota de la pista). Mantenga presionado el botón SGL/CNT durante más de un segundo para activar/desactivar la funciónauto Cue. SEAMLESS LOOP - BUCLE CONTINUO- 1- Crear y reproducir un Loop: Un Seamless Loop es un bucle continuo, el principio y final del bucle se unen sin que exista interrupción entre ambos. La duración del bucle no tiene límite y se podría crear un bucle sobre todo el contenido de la tarjeta SD. Aunque lo más normal es crear bucles entre dos puntos definidos de la tarjeta SD. (1)Presione el botón PLAY/PAUSE para entrar en modo reproducción. SELECCIÓN DE UN NUEVO PUNTO CUE Un punto CUE es el punto o momento (tiempo) en el que comenzará la reproducción al presionar el botón PLAY/PAUSE. Podemos crear un punto CUE en cualquier parte de la tarjeta SD o cualquier parte de en una pista. (1) Podemos crear un punto CUE presionando el botón A en reproducción. A esta forma de crear puntos CUE la llamamos Cue on the Fly o HOT CUE. El punto CUE se crea sin interrupción de la música. Presionando el botón CUE posicionamos el lector en el punto exacto donde creamos el punto CUE mediante el botóna. (2) Podemos crear un punto CUE utilizando los botones SEARCH. Estando el equipo en Pausa o en modo CUE podemos crear un punto CUE utilizando los botones SEARCH (14), estos botones nos permiten desplazarnos por la pista hasta encontrar el punto adecuado para memorizar como CUE. (3) Presione el botón B para editar el punto de fin de bucle. Los botones A y B/ EXIT parpadearán rápidamente indicando que el bucle está activo. El Loop se reproducirá continuamente. (2) Presione el botón A. En el momento que lo presiona crea el inicio de un bucle, el LED rojo del botónaparpadeará. ESPAÑOL Una vez estamos en la posición deseada, para memorizar el punto CUE debemos presionar el botón PLAY/PAUSE. Al presionar el botón CUE la reproducción se sitúa inmediatamente en el punto CUE creado buscando con los botones SEARCH. (3) Estando el equipo en PAUSA o en modo CUE podemos crear con gran precisión un punto CUE utilizando la rueda de búsqueda (17), girándola en un sentido u otro avanzamos/retrocedemos frame a frame o trocito a trocito de 1/75 segundos. Una vez estamos en la posición deseada, para memorizar el punto CUE debemos presionar el botón PLAY/PAUSE. Al presionar el botón CUE la reproducción se sitúa inmediatamente en el punto CUE creado con la rueda de búsqueda. 2- Salir de un bucle: Para salir del Seamless Loop o bucle presione el botón B/ EXIT. Los botones A y B/ EXIT permanecerán iluminados permanentemente. Al salir del bucle la reproducción continuará en modo normal. Los botones A y B/ EXIT permanecerán iluminados y en el display podremos ver indicado RELOOP para recordarnos que hay un bucle editado y listo para ser reproducido. 3- Reproducir un bucle memorizado: Una vez hemos creado un bucle la función RELOOP nos permite volver a reproducir el bucle en cualquier momento. Para volver al bucle presione el botón Reloop, los botones A y B/ EXIT parpadearán indicando que el bucle está siendo reproducido. 12

14 ESPAÑOL EDITAR UN SEAMLESS LOOP Un Seamless Loop es un bucle continuo, el principio y final del bucle se pueden variar o afinar. Evidentemente, para ello es necesario haber creado un bucle o Seamless Loop. A continuación veremos los pasos necesarios para editar un bucle: 1- Edición del punto final de un Loop: Podemos variar el punto final del bucle para acortarlo, alargarlo o precisar mejor dicho punto final. En primer lugar debemos cerciorarnos de que el Loop que editamos NO está en modo RELOOP. Gire la rueda o Jog Wheel o presione los botones SEARCH para modificar el punto final de bucle. NOTA: asegúrese de que el nuevo punto final de bucle no es anterior al punto inicial de bucle. Presione el botón B/EXIT para memorizar el nuevo punto final. CONSEJO: Para poder precisar mejor el punto final recomendamos reproducir a una velocidad lenta actuando sobre el control PITCH. 2- Edición del punto de inicio de un Loop: Podemos variar el punto de inicio del bucle para acortarlo, alargarlo (inicio anterior al original) o precisar mejor dicho punto. En primer lugar debemos cerciorarnos de estar en modo RELOOP (los botonesay B parpadean). Gire la rueda o Jog Wheel en el sentido de las agujas del reloj o presione los botones SEARCH para modificar el punto de inicio de bucle. CONSEJO: El mejor modo de precisar el nuevo punto es utilizar el efecto stutter que obtenemos en modo PAUSAal girar la rueda. De este modo realizamos la búsqueda frame a frame. Para avanzar el punto de inicio simplemente gire la rueda o utilice los botones SEARCH. Para retroceder el punto de inicio puede utilizar los botones SEARCH o entrar en modo SEARCH (botón 17) y utilizar la rueda. Una vez determinamos el nuevo punto de inicio presione el botóna para memorizar el nuevo punto. NOTA: asegúrese de que el nuevo punto de inicio de bucle no es posterior al punto final de bucle. 3- Realizar un Reset de un Loop: En primer lugar debemos cerciorarnos de estar en modo PLAY o PAUSA. Presione el botón A en el punto que desee comenzar el nuevo bucle, el LED del botón B/ EXIT se apagará. Mediante el botón B/ EXIT establezca un punto de fin del nuevo bucle. Este nuevo bucle reemplaza al anterior. EFECTO STUTTER Puede utilizar un bucle para realizar esta función. Cuando el bucle está en reproducción presione el botón A repetidamente y si es posible en sincronía con la música reproducida para crear este efecto. FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL CONTROL TRACK Este control realiza tres funciones distintas: 1- Búsqueda de una pista o canción: Estando el LED de FOLDER apagado, girando el mando TRACK podemos seleccionar una de las posibles 999 pistas de un archivo o Folder. Girando en el sentido de las agujas del reloj avanzamos pistas y girando en sentido contrario buscamos pistas desplazándonos hacia atrás. 2- Búsqueda de una archivo o Folder: Estando el LED de FOLDER encendido, girando el mando TRACK podemos seleccionar una de las posibles 999 carpetas o FOLDERS de la tarjeta SD. Girando en el sentido de las agujas del reloj avanzamos archivos y girando en sentido contrario buscamos archivos desplazándonos hacia atrás. 3- Ver información sobre el archivo o pista seleccionados: Podemos visualizar la siguiente información Folder Name/FILE NAME/TITLE NAME/ARTIST/GENRE/BITRATE presionando el control TRACK. Folder Name: información acerca del contenido de la carpeta o Fólder. FILE NAME: información acerca los títulos. TITLE NAME: información acerca del artista. ARTIST: información acerca del género de la música GENRE/BITRATE: información acerca del BPM. NOTA: En caso de que durante +20 segundos no realicemos ninguna selección el indicador volverá a TITLE NAME (información acerca del artista). FUNCIONAMIENTO DE TAP BPM Auto BPM es el modo por defecto al encender el aparato. Podemos alternar entre Auto BPM y Manual BPM presionando el botón TAP BPM. 13

15 NOTA: para pasar a Manual BPM simplemente presione el botón TAP BPM, para pasar de Manual a Auto BPM presione el botón TAP BPM más de 1 segundo, en el display podremos ver indicado AUTO BPM. 1- Manual BPM: presione el botón TAP BPM en sincronía con el Beat de la música para contar el valor BPM. Al pasar de Auto BPM a Manual BPM el valor establecido por Auto BPM no cambiará hasta que actuemos sobre TAP BPM para manualmente contar el Beat. 2- Auto BPM: su reproductor dispone de un afinado software de análisis y detección de Beat automático. En modo Auto BPM el reproductor SD2DIGITAL analizará automaticamente el Beat de la pista y nos proporcionará su valor en el display sin necesidad de actuar sobre el botón TAPBPM. SYSTEM SETTING (Configuración del Sistema) Presione el botón TIME durante 2 segundos hasta que la palabra PRESET aparezca en el display. NOTA: si antes de 5 segundos no realizamos ninguna operación el modo System Setting se desactivará. REPEAT REPEAT: OFF Se repiten todos los FOLDERS o carpetas de la tarjeta SD. REPEAT: ON Se repite todo el FOLDER o carpeta. RESET En la sección Reset all? puede realizar un RESET de la memoria del sistema. De este modo borrará todos los menús programados y volverá a los menús por defecto propios del reproductor. Presione el botón TRACK, volverá a los menús por defecto y en el display aparecerá reset OK. CONTROLVERSION DISPLAY(Versión del Firmware) Puede visualizar la versión del Firmware de su unidad. V cc.bb donde cc indica la versión de la controladora y bb indica la versión de buffer.
