4 4MICRO WARNINGS Read all instructions before use of the infant carrier. Keep instructions for use. Do not use the infant carrier if it is damaged or broken. NEVER leave child unattended. Suffocation hazard: Infant carrier can roll over on soft surfaces and suffocate child. NEVER place carrier on beds, sofas or other soft surfaces. Strangulation hazard: Child can strangle in loose restraint straps. NEVER leave child in carrier when straps are loose or undone. F2050 Fall Hazard: Child s movement can slide carrier. NEVER place carrier near edges of counter tops, tables or other elevated surfaces. Infant carriers are not intended for use as infant restraint devices in motor vehicles. NEVER use this carrier as a means to transport an infant in a motor vehicle. The carrycot is not recommended for infants in excess of 9 kg/19.8 lbs in weight or 70cm/27 inches in length.

5 WARNINGS F2194 Failure to follow these warnings and the instructions could result in serious injury or death. FALL HAZARD- To help prevent falls, do not use this product when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached 19.8lb (9kg), which ever comes first. SUFFOCATION HAZARD Infants have suffocated: -In gaps between extra padding and side of the bassinet/ cradle/carrycot. - On soft bedding. Use only the pad provided by manufacturer. NEVER add a pillow, comforter, or another mattress for padding. To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician. If a sheet is used with the pad, use only the one Jané provided with the cradle, bassinet or carrycot. Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with a string around a child s neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. Do not suspend strings over a bassinet, cradle or carrycot or attach strings to toys. english 5

6 6MICRO WARNINGS ADITIONAL WARNINGS Only use the carrycot on level, solid surfaces and only in the horizontal position. In any other position, the child may slide or fall out of the bassinet. Never pick up this Jané product by the carry handle while your child is lying in the bassinet. NEVER use the carrycot fabric when it is not attached to the frame. WEIGHT Excessive weight and / or child s height may cause a hazardous unstable condition to exist. The product will become unstable if Jané s recommended load and/or height is exceeded. ASSEMBLY Be certain that all components (e.g. chassis, hood, attachment devices) are correctly engaged before you allow a child near this Jané product (see assembly instructions). Failure to attach properly could result in serious injury or death to your child. Do not use this Jané product if any part or component appears to be broken, damaged, missing or in case of malfunction. Audible click must be heard in order to determine that each lock is in proper position. MOVING PARTS Avoid serious injuries when folding and unfolding and/ or handling the product. The appearance of cutting, compression, pinch points and finger entrapments are inevitable during these operations. Children shall be kept away from moving parts when the responsible adult is handling the product. Children shall be kept away from the product while it is being folded or unfolded.

7 NUMBER OF CHILDREN Do not carry more than one infant in this Jané product. ADJUSTMENTS Ensure that all the touch fasteners are securely fastened before use. Check and maintain all safety features frequently. TRANSPORTATION Never leave the child in this Jané product when travelling in any mode of transport. EXTREME CONDITIONS Do not use this Jané product near open flames and other sources of heat. Avoid exposing this Jané product to extreme temperatures. Babies have very sensitive skin. Never put a baby in this Jané product in the sunlight without fitting the sun canopy. Even though canopy is fitted, never leave baby under the sun for extended periods of time. ACCESSORIES Only use authentic Jané replacement parts and accessories approved by Jané for use with this Jané product. NEVER add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding. Use ONLY the pad approved and supplied by the manufacturer. INFORMATION Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death. 9 1.-UNFOLDING Place the JANE MICRO folding carrycot on a flat surface. Turn the ProFix system connector outwards. 1-1A Open the fastening strap so that the side walls completely unfold (B). Make sure that the walls are properly unfolded! 1A 1 A B english 9

10 2.- FOLDING Fold the hood of the JANE MICRO folding carrycot. Close the foot cover. 2-2A Pull the fastening straps and secure them in the points on the base of the carrycot (A). Fold the ProFix system connector inwards (B). 2A MICRO 2 B A 10

11 3.- USING THE HOOD The hood of the JANÉ MICRO folding carrycot can be folded, unfolded and taken off. 3-3A To take the hood off, undo the rear zip and then move the hood connector outwards to separate it from the carrycot (B). 3 3A To fit the hood onto the JANÉ MICRO carrycot insert the hood connector into the frame and fasten the rear zip. 12 4.- OPENING THE FOOT COVER To open the foot cover of the JANÉ MICRO folding carrycot, undo the zip to the required position and fold the upper part back 4 after undoing the clasps. 4 To completely remove the foot cover undo the two zips. 4A 4A MICRO 12

13 5.- FITTING ONTO A JANE PUSHCHAIR 5 To fasten the JANE MICRO carrycot onto a Jane chassis, position the carrycot so that the child s head is facing forwards and insert the Profix connectors into the slots on the armrests of the chassis, that are designed for this; listen for the click indicating it is fastened. 5-5A english 13

14 5.- FITTING ONTO A JANE PUSHCHAIR TAKE CARE! Before using it, make sure that all the locking catches are closed. 5A To release the carrycot, pull the unlocking buttons on the connectors upwards and separate the JANE MICRO folding carrycot from the pushchair by pulling it upwards. 5B MICRO To improve the balance of your MICRO carrycot when it is fitted onto your pushchair you can use the fastening system following the instructions. Adjust the strap to tighten it. - RIDER / TRIDER 5C 5B 14 WARNING: Unlock the system before removing the carrycot.

15 5C 6.- MAINTENANCE Clean the plastic parts with soap and warm water, then carefully dry all the components. Hand wash at temperature no higher than 30 C. Leave to dry naturally in a shaded place. If the upholstery is exposed to sunlight for prolonged periods of time it may affect the colour of the fabric. Your CAPAZO MICRO baby carrier has a guarantee with precise specifications for correct maintenance, it is important to keep these for perfect validity. 18 MICRO 18 ADVERTENCIAS Lea todas las instrucciones antes de utilizar el portabebés. Guarde las instrucciones de uso. No utilice el portabebés si está dañado o roto. NUNCA deje al niño desatendido. Peligro de asfixia: El portabebés puede rodar sobre superficies blandas y asfixiar al niño. NUNCA ponga el portabebés en camas, sofás u otras superficies blandas. Peligro de estrangulación: El niño puede estrangularse en las cintas del sistema de retención. NUNCA deje al niño en el portabebés cuando las cintas están sueltas o poco ajustadas. PELIGRO DE CAIDA - Para ayudar a prevenir caídas, no use este producto cuando el niño empiece a empujarse hacia arriba con manos y rodillas o haya alcanzado 19.8lb (9kg), lo que suceda primero. 20 MICRO 20 ADVERTENCIAS ADVERTENCIAS ADICIONALES Utilice el capazo en una superficie nivelada, sólida y únicamente en posición horizontal. En cualquier otra posición, el niño podría deslizarse o caerse del moisés. Nunca agarre este producto Jané por las asas mientras el niño esta tumbado en el moisés. NUNCA utilice el tapizado del capazo si no está sujeto al chasis. PESO Un peso o altura excesivos del niño pueden crear condiciones de peligro por inestabilidad. El producto se volverá inestable si el peso y/o altura del niño recomendado por Jané es excedido. MONTAJE Asegúrese de que todos los componentes (chasis, capota, dispositivos de fijación) están correctamente instalados antes de permitir acercarse al niño a este producto Jané (vea instrucciones de montaje). 23 1.- DESPLEGADO Coloque el capazo plegable JANÉ MICRO sobre una superficie plana. 1-1A Gire hacia fuera el adaptador del sistema ProFix (A). Abra el cinturón de sujeción de modo que las paredes laterales se desplieguen completamente (B). Asegúrese que las paredes queden bien desplegadas! 1 1A A B español 23

24 2.- PLEGADO Pliegue la capota del capazo plegable JANÉ MICRO. Cierre el cubrepies. 2-2A Tire de los cinturones de sujeción y asegúrelos en los puntos situados en la base del capazo (A). Pliegue hacia adentro el adaptador del sistema ProFix (B). 2A MICRO 2 B A 24

25 3.- USO DE LA CAPOTA La capota del capazo plegable JANÉ MICRO puede plegarse, desplegarse y desmontarse. 3-3A Para desmontar la capota, abra la cremallera posterior y desplace después hacia fuera el adaptador de la capota para separarlo del capazo (B). 3 3A Para montar la capota en el capazo JANÉ MICRO introduzca el adaptador de la capota en el bastidor y cierre la cremallera posterior. 26 4.- APERTURA DEL CUBREPIES Para abrir el cubrepies del capazo plegable JANÉ MICRO, abra la cremallera hasta el lugar deseado y pliegue la parte superior 4 liberando previamente los broches. 4 Para retirar totalmente el cubrepies abra las dos cremalleras. 4A 4A MICRO 26

27 5.- SUJECIÓN EN UNA SILLA JANÉ Para fijar el capazo JANÉ MICRO a un chasis Jané, coloque el capazo de tal modo que la cabeza del niño esté situada en la dirección de la marcha e introduzca los adaptadores Profix en las ranuras situadas en los reposabrazos del chasis, previstos para ello; tiene que escuchar el click de fijación. 5-5A 5 español 27

28 5.- SUJECIÓN EN UNA SILLA JANÉ CUIDADO! Antes de su uso, asegúrese que todos los seguros de bloqueo están cerrados. 5A Para soltar el capazo de la fijación, tire hacia arriba de los botones de desbloqueo situados en los adaptadores y separe el capazo plegable JANÉ MICRO de la silla tirando de él hacia arriba. 5B MICRO Para mejorar el posible balanceo de su Capazo MICRO, al instalarlo sobre su silla, puede utilizar el sistema de fijación siguiendo las instrucciones. Ajuste la cinta para tensarla. - RIDER / TRIDER 5C 5B 28 ATENCIÓN: Desbloquear el sistema antes de retirar el capazo.

29 5C 6.- MANTENIMIENTO Lave las partes de plástico con agua templada y jabón, secando posteriormente todos los componentes concienzudamente. Lavar a mano y a una temperatura nunca superior a 30ºC. Secar al aire, en un sitio sombreado. Una exposición del tapizado de forma prolongada bajo el sol, podría afectar la estabilidad del color del tejido.
