3 UDESIGN th Edition UDESIGN is a series of conferences created by the Faculty of Art, Architecture and Design of UDEM (), as an effort to create an opportunity for students to share some time with successful professionals or artists and learn from some of their experiences. The event is aimed mainly to students enrolled in the Art, Architecture, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design and Interior Design Programmes (900 students). UDESIGN, is not an isolated event, it is composed by efforts that define the curse of the Faculty of Art Architecture and Design, these are: Teaching methodology. The studio is reinforced by assigning a personal space which students can use permanently, 24 hours a day. Infrastructure. Reflected in the Centro Roberto Garza Sada, The Art Architecture and Design Division headquarters, which houses 22 laboratories with state of the art technology. Selectivity of students and teachers. Trained in the leading institutions worldwide. UDESIGN is a statement, an invitation to create, an opportunity to be a protagonist, a moment to change things. UDESIGN is an attitude, is the moment to define the future. UDESIGN means You design. We are not architects, designers or artists. We are a multidisciplinary team, where we are not defined by our studies, profession or discipline we practice we are all just creative beings.

4 GATE OF CREATION UDESIGN / CRGS 5TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF ART, ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN The 5th edition of the event will take place for the first time at The Centro Roberto Garza Sada of Art, Architecture and Design at UDEM, from March 3rd to March 7th. This edition, the concept of the event is BEYOND, with this concept the event aimsto erase the boundaries that exist and divide creative disciplines. The main goal is to open our minds to other creative practices, methods and points of view to create products, artifacts or solutions that reach levels beyond the expected.
