Este boceto fue especialmente preparado para aconsejarle como utilizar correctamente el presente producto, y como mantener su funcionamiento para apreciar sus cualidades. Le pedimos leer muy atentamente la instrucción, de esta manera usted gozará de su funcionamiento por mucho tiempo. Deben seguir los pasos de la instrucción para garantizar la seguridad de los usuarios, de los técnicos que instalan prueban y reglan el aparato, y aquellos que mantienen, reparan y lo transportan. CARACTERÍSTICAS CONSTRUCTIVAS CONSTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS Los generadores de aire caliente consisten de una cámara de combustión con intercambiador de calor de un soporte apoyado independiente, un grupo calefactor y un sistema de control de la seguridad. El intercambiador de calor consiste de un acero inoxidable AISI 430 y esta adaptado a diferentes tipos de quemadores y carburante utilizado: pueden actuar en función de óleo de gas, gas de la segunda categoría (metano G20 a 20 mbar) o gas de la tercera categoría (G30 y G31 a 30 mbar). La cámara de combustión esta en el tipo inversado de la llama. El intercambiador de calor consiste de una sección de tubos óvalos instalados para disminuir el efecto hacia los gases calientes. El soporte independiente constituye de aceros de barniz de color naranja tapadas por una banda plástica aislada y protegida de un tablero impulsado por dentro. El grupo calefactor consiste de un ventilador directamente manejado por un motor eléctrico, o por un ventilador centrifugo, en dependencia del modelo. El control de la seguridad (ver cap.11) para todos los calentadores constituye de: 1 Un termostato FAN que actúa o para el calefactor; 1 Un termostato LIMIT que para el quemador en caso de recalentarse. Reanudar el quemador se hace automáticamente. 1 el termostato de seguridad aprieta el ajuste de la temperatura, que para el calefactor. El interruptor principal con la función de sobrecarga y cortocircuito. El lanzamiento se hace manual girando el manubrio. Combiterm air heaters consist of a combustion chamber with heat exchanger, a self supporting frame, a blower group and a safety control system. The heat exchanger is made of stainless steel AISI 430 and is adepted to different kinds of burner and fuel used: they can in fact function on light oil, on gas of second category (methane G20 at 20 mbar) or on gas of third category (G30 and G31 at 30 mbar). The combustion chamber is of the inverted flame type. The heat exchanger, consisting of oval section tubes duly moulded to have a retarding effect on the hot gases for maximum economy, has indeed the highest thermic efficiency and least resistance to the gas flow. The self supporting frame is made of varnished steel sheet orange coloured, covered with a plastic film, isolated and thermically shielded by a galvanised panel inside. The blower group consists of an axial fan, direct-driven by the electric motor, or of a belt-driven centrifugal fan, depending on model. The control and safety system (see cap. 11) on all heaters is run by: 1 FAN thermostat that activates or stops the blower. 1 LIMIT thermostat that stops the burner in case of overheating. The restart of the burner is automatic. 1 SAFETY thermostat of fixed temperature setting, that stops the burner. Restart is manual. 1 Main switch with overload and short-circuit function. Resetting is manual by turning the knob. 6

EMPAQUETAMIENTO Y TRANSPORTACIÓN PACKING AND TRANSPORT Atención!: La transportación y la traslación debe realizarse muy atentamente, para evitar los defectos del aparato y el prejudicio de las personas afectadas Durante este tipo de operación ninguna persona no debe hallarse en la cercanía de las maquinas o del equipo de mudanza. Cuando es necesario situar una maquina encima de otra asegúrense que la pila es segura. Si no hay equipo de mudanza, entonces el atontamiento ha de efectuarse manual, asegúrense que el trabajo manual esta en iguales proporciones con el peso y las dimensiones del equipo. Para otros detalles ver punto Características técnicas y rendimiento y calculan la distancia y dirección donde el equipo debe transportarse. Durante la carga y la descarga deben utilizar calzados específicos y guanteletes especiales. No deben echar nada del material equipado: cajas de cartón, bolsas de plástico etc. El calentador esta suministrado en un palé de madera, lo que facilita la transportación. Durante la transportación estandartizada y el equipo adicional están empaquetados junto con el calentador en una película de plástico transparente con un cartón protector. Después de la instalación y antes de conectar el calentador, se quita la película de plástico con el marco del calentador. Warning! Transport and handling should be done with utmost care, in order to avoid damage to the machines or danger for the persons concerned. During operations of this kind, no persons must stand in the vicinity of the machines or moving equipment. When it is necessary to place one item on top of another, make sure that the stability of the pile is ensured. Should no moving equipment be available and loading, piling up or unloading must be done by hands, make sure enough labour is available in proportion to the weight and dimension of the items, to be handled. See for details Technical characteristics and performances and consider course, journey and distance to be covered in transport. While loading or unloading, always use protective gloves and footwear. Do not throw away any packaging parts, such as pallets, carton boxes, plastic bags, polystyrene, etc... This heater is standard supplied on a wooden pallet, which makes handling with a forklift or pallet shovel easy. When shipping the standard and optional equipment like burner, chimney accessories etc... are packed together to the heater frame in a transparent plastic sheet and protective cardboard. After installation and before operating the heater remove the plastic foil from the heater frame. 10

INSTALACIÓN DEL CONDUCTO DE POLIETILENO POLYETHYLENE DUCT FIXING (supplied on request) El conducto del polietileno perforado, la cual esta destinada para la distribución del aire caliente, debe sujetarse hacia la parte frontal de la salida de combiterm mediante un cable fino, sujetando el cable hacia la salida de la abertura. El soporte de los tubos de plástico debe realizarse mediante cinturones de suspensión (suministradas en la demanda) situadas en 1m de distancia y sujetada a un cable metálico, el cual debe pasar por encima del tubo perforado (figura A). Asegúrense que la abertura empuja el aire hacia arriba. El calentador del aire combiterm puede funcionar sin tubos, en este caso, para recibir una difusión uniforme del aire caliente es necesario utilizar los ventiladores ACF, los cuales tienen este fin y fueron elaborados justo para eso (para una información adicional pónganse en contacto con nosotros). The perforated polyethylene duct, serving a more homogeneous distribution of the warm air, must be fixed to the frontal warm air outlet (PHE accessory) of the combiterm model by means of a thin cable, fixing the duct into the groove of the outlet. The sustaining of the plastic duct must be assured through hanging belts (supplied on demand) placed at intervals of not less than 1 meter of each other, and hooked up to a metal cable which runs along the perforated duct (see fig. A) See to it that the perforations push the warm air downwards. The combiterm air heater can also function without ducts; in this case, in order to obtain a homogeneous distribution of the warm air in the environment, ACF fans should be used which are designed for this specific task (for more details, enquire with us). COMBITERM VERSIONE PENSILE (KIT SHK): SCHEMA GENERALE D INSTALLAZIONE COMBITERM SUSPENDED VERSION (KIT SHK): GENERAL FEATURES OF INSTALLATION Atención!: El equipo debe instalarse solo por las personas calificadas, en conformidad con las reglas nacionales y locales. Este tipo de calentador esta dotado con especiales ganchos para colgarlo. El puede instalarse con o sin con conductos de plástico para la difusión del aire. De todas maneras es recomendable orientar la difusión del aire hacia la parte nórdica del edificio. Si han instalado el aparato sin el conducto plástico, deben instalar el aparato a una altura no más de 2,7m del suelo. Para una instalación correcta del aparato es necesario sujetar las barras de acero hacia los arcos del edificio o estufas. (Figura B). Es recomendable suspender el aparato con la ayuda de las cadenas metálicos galvanizados Nº. 19, las cuales deben sujetarse en especiales ganchos M8 que están suministrados en el completo. Ver fig. B 6/7. Para la conexión eléctrica, ver cap.11. Warning: the equipment is to be installed only by qualified persons, according to the current national and local rules. SHK kit is equipped with special hooks for hanging. It can be installed with or without the plastic duct for hot air distribution. At any rate, it is advisable to direct air diffusion toward the North side of the building. If the apparatus works without plastic duct or directable diffuser (DHD option), it must be installed at a height of not less than 2,7 mt from floor level to the hot air outlet. The correct installation of the equipment requires fastening of steel cross bars to the tunnel arches or to the greenhouse/poultry-house trusses (fig. B pos.5). It is advisable to hang the unit by means of a galvanised iron chain nr. 19, which must be fastened to the special hooks by M8 screws furnished. See fig. B part.6/7. COMBITERM VERSIONE CARRELLATA (KIT WSK+KIT THD): Esquema general para la instalación COMBITERM MOBILE VERSION (KIT WSK+KIT THD): GENERAL FEATURES OF INSTALLATION Con questo accessorio la macchina deve essere installata possibilmente nella zona centrale dell ambiente da riscaldare, data la sua particolarità di distribuire l aria calda radialmente sui quattro lati grazie ai diffusori ad alette orientabili di cui è fornito. Nel caso si verificasse l esigenza di installare la macchina a parete è opportuno tenere presente di non occludere più di una bocchetta di lancio. Dopo aver definito la posizione ideale per il luogo di installazione, costruire una piazzola in cemento (fig. C pos. 5) su cui verrà piazzato l apparecchio, ricordando che deve essere previsto uno spazio libero tutt intorno per facilitare l accesso all apparecchio stesso ed aumentarne la rapidità di intervento in caso di necessità. Posizionare il generatore utilizzando il carrello di cui è provvisto. Collegare la linea elettrica al quadro di comando (vedere cap. 11). Collegare elettricamente il bruciatore all apposita predisposizione sul frontale della macchina. This model must possibly be installed in the middle of the building as it distributes hot air on four sides, by means of its adjustable vanes diffusors. If wall placing is required, you should not occlude more than one air outlet. Once that the ideal location of the unit is decided, a cement bed should be built (fig. C pos. 5). Don t forget to leave enough space around the plant to allow access and prompt intervention operation. The Combiterm can be easily positioned as it is fitted with wheels. 14 8. INSTALACIÓN DE KIT SHK ASSEMBLING SHK KIT Per i modelli 35 e 60 la predisposizione attacco gancio si trova nella parte inferiore della macchina, sia anteriormente che posteriormente. INSTALACIÓN DEL QUEMADOR CHIMNEY ASSEMBLY Atención!: El equipo debe instalarse solo por las personas calificadas, en conformidad con las reglas nacionales y locales. La eliminación al exterior del edificio de la combustión de los subproductos, donde esta instalado el calentador, se realiza mediante el cilindro de distinto diámetro, en dependencia del modelo, conectándolo a un inmenso tubo en la parte posterior del aparato. El completo estandarte incluye: 2 tubos de acero inoxidable de una longitud de 1 m 1 codo de acero inoxidable 1 techo pared de paso 1 tubo de corcho de acero inoxidable 3 armaduras Existen 2 posibilidades para la instalación: mediante la salida hacia el techo o mediante el extremo del edificio, según su elección. (Fig. B pag 12 y fig. C pag.13). Muy importante: todas las conexiones deben sujetarse con tornillos o remaches. Los productos de la combustión se extraen separadamente. La altura de la chimenea debe tener mínimo 1 m y más que el techo. 15 Warning: the equipment is to be installed only by qualified persons, according to the current national and local rules. The removal of the combustion by-products outside of the building where the heater is installed comes through an appropriate cylindrical tube of different diameter according to the models, connecting it to the appropriate pipe-connection situated on rear side of the apparatus. Both are equipped with 5 modular parts standard: 2 linear stainless tubes long 1 m each 1 stainless elbow 1 roof pass plate replacing pane, slab, plastic film (of green-house, tunnel or poultry-house) 1 cap stainless 3 fixing bars Two different types of installations are available: with outlet through the roof or through the head of the building, according to your needs (fig. B page 12 and fig. C page 13). Important: joints must be fixed with self-threading screws or rivets. The combustion by-product must be removed individually and the height of the gas outlet terminal must always be at least 1 m higher than the roof gutter of the building. More linear stainless tube elements can be supplied on request. El procedimiento de la instalación Installation procedure Atención!: Cada pieza debe sujetarse bien con tornillos y remaches. (ver Fig.F). Antes de instalar el corcho, deben sujetar muy bien la armadura al corcho, utilizando 3 tuercas M5 y 3 pernos M5, que hay en el completo. La armadura tiene muchas salidas para una buena fijación a la chimenea de distintos diámetros. Los detalles de la figura G se utilizan Fig. F como referencia: allí esta indicado la salida correcta para los tubos de distintos diámetros de cada chimenea. Después del recalzo de la armadura, el corcho debe sujetarse a la chimenea perforando el tubo con la abertura en la armadura. Para realizar esto, utilicen los pernos M5, que hay en el completo. Attention: each component should be assembled together by self-threading screws and rivets (see fig. F). Before assembling the cap, you should fasten the fixing bars on the cap itself by using the 3 nuts M5 and the 3 bolts M5x10 provided. The bars are equipped with a multiple hole in order to fit themselves to the different chimneypipe diameters. Please keep as reference the details in figure G: it shows the right hole you should use for each chimney pipe diameter dimension. After fastening the bars, the cap should be fixed on the chimney pipe, by drilling the pipe itself in correspondence with the preset holes on the bars. For this operation use the bolts M5x10 provided. 16 10. EL MONTAJE DEL QUEMADOR BURNER COUPLING Atención!: El equipo debe instalarse solo por las personas calificadas, en conformidad con las reglas nacionales y locales. El quemador es uno de las más importantes piezas los cuales aseguran el funcionamiento correcto y seguro del calentador. Por eso el equipo debe instalarse con máxima precaución. El quemador (que no siempre esta en el completo) debe instalarse en el apretamiento del calentador con la colocación aislada. (fig.i 4). Las aberturas, realizadas durante el apretamiento, son estandartes para la instalación de los quemadores Riello o Joannes. Para poder introducir el quemador, deben eliminar el tendido aislado. Utilicen un objeto agudo para realizar la operación. Si utilizan otros tipos de quemadores, perforen las correspondientes salidas. En ambos casos utilicen los tornillos del completo. Para la conexión a la red eléctrica deben conectar el cable a los terminales en el bloque de conectores, que esta situado en la armadura del calentador de la parte del quemador. Para la conexión y el ajuste del quemador, deben seguir la instrucción del mantenimiento que esta con el quemador. Si surge algún problema, pónganse en contacto con las centrales de venta de su país. The burner is one of the main components for the regular and safe working of the heater, therefore it must be installed with utmost precision. The burner (sometimes not supplied with the heater) must be fitted onto the proper clamping plate of the heater complete with insulating gasket (fig. I pos.4). The pre-existing holes in the plate are standardised for fixing flanges of Riello or Joannes burners. To be able to insert the burner, remove the insulating gasket bounded by the burner flange. Use a sharp object to do the operations. Drill suitable holes if using other brands of burners. In both cases use the self-threading screws included in the kit. However stick to the instructions of maintenance and use guide supplied with every burner. For the power supply you should connect the burner by the cable provided on the preset terminals inside the connector block, which is situated on the heater wallhousing at the side of the burner itself (pict. L). In order to connect and regulate the burner, one should strictly follow the instructions indicated in the maintenance and use guide supplied with every burner. 18 11. LA CONEXIÓN ELÉCTRICA ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS Atención!: la conexión eléctrica debe instalarse solo por las personas calificadas, en conformidad con las reglas nacionales y locales. La conexión eléctrica debe ejecutarse con mínimo de detalles, siguiendo la instrucción La instalación se efectúa en conformidad con las normas locales. La alimentación eléctrica del generador siempre debe pasar mediante el sistema de la seguridad, la cual debe tomar tierra. Este hecho protege los contactos directos e indirectos. En el esquema de la conexión eléctrica se estableció la alimentación directa al panel del control para facilitar la seguridad de la conexión. Recuerden que debe estar muy atentos por el corriente eléctrico, cuando abrirán el panel, y cuando el interruptor principal esta abierto. Muy atentamente deben seguir los pasos del esquema, y de las imágenes donde se muestran cada Terminal (Fig M y N). Para la alimentación eléctrica utilicen el cable, en conformidad con la capacidad eléctrica y la longitud de la línea, utilizando 5 cables del polo para la maquina trifásica y 3 cables para la maquina monofásica. Deben instalar el interruptor, conveniente a cada polo, en conformidad con las normas convenientes a la carga de las maquinas. El termostato debe estar conectado al panel del Terminal, en todos los modelos del calentador el se encuentra en el interior del panel del control. Durante la conexión sigan los pasos de la instrucción en el esquema eléctrico (Fig M y N). Esta prohibido tirar, doblar el cable de la conexión del calentador. Se prohíbe cambiar las piezas del equipo del calentador sin la información preliminar del productor. The electrical connections to the heater must be made with utmost precision, following the indications supplied in this manual by the manufacturer. Installation must be made in accordance with the rules in force. The electrical power supply to the heater must always go through a protective system coordinated with the earthing of the machine, that allows the protection of direct and indirect contacts. A direct power supply to the control box has been foreseen in the electrical connection diagram, so that the job of the installer can be easier and the connection can be safer; remember that you must be careful because there is an electrical charge within the circuit when opening the box door, also when the main switch is open. Follow carefully the instructions on the electric scheme and the silk-screen printing which shows every single terminal (see fig. M and fig. N). For the power supply use a cable suitably dimensioned according to the electric power and the line length installed, by using a 5-pole cable for a threephase machine and a 3-pole cable for a singlephase machine. Install a switch, suitable for every pole, according to the regulations in force, appropriately dimensioned on the basis of the equipment load factor. The room thermostat should be connected to the preset terminal board, situated in all the air heater models inside the control box, following the instructions on the electric scheme and the silk-screen printing fixed on the terminals (see fig. M and fig. N). It is prohibited to pull, bend or interfere with the connecting wires of the heater. It is strictly prohibited to substitute any particulars of the electric equipment without having. 18

CICLO INICIAL DEL TRABAJO DEL QUEMADOR BURNER STARTING CYCLE Después de la instalación completa del aparato y después de conectar a la red eléctrica y termostato (Fig M o N) se puede iniciar el ciclo del trabajo del quemador de esta manera: Conecten la electricidad al calentador, girando el interruptor en la posición ON, que se encuentra en el panel del control del generador (Fig. L o O).La lampara verde debe encenderse y conectarse la alimentación. Establecen en el termostato la temperatura adecuada. En esta fase el quemador esta conectado a la electricidad y después de airear la habitación, tendrá lugar el contacto. Todas las fases del funcionamiento (aireación, el contacto, el control de la combustión y de la seguridad) se controlan con equipo electrónico o electromecánico que hay en el completo con cada quemador. Atención! La lámpara roja significa que el sistema bloc de señales se desconectara (después de este proceso) y emperezará un nuevo ciclo de contacto. Si la fase del bloqueo ocurrirá de nuevo durante el contacto, es necesario llamar en un centro de venta de los quemadores, porque puede tener una intermitencia peligrosa. After having duly installed the machine and connected the power line and thermostat (see pict. M and pict. N page 22) a heating cycle may be activated in following phases: Supply electricity to the machine by turning on position 1 (ON) the main switch placed on the controlbox of the generator (see des. L or des. O pos. 2). The green lamp comes on to signal POWER supplied. Set the ambient thermostat on the desired temperature. In this stage the burner is electrically connected and after cleaning the combustion chamber by means of the airstream blowing through it, the ignition of the fuel will start. All the functioning phases (preventilation, ignition, control of combustion and safety) are controlled by electronic or electromechanical equipment which is fitted to every burner. If no anomalies are shown on the control panel during the preventilation stage (that every burner has to undergo before starting) then the burner will continue with the pre-ignition stage and will start functioning. However if the control panel shows any anomaly the burner will be immediately blocked and there will be a BLOCK situation. The only way to unblock the machine is by using the manual reset button situated in the control box of the burner. Warning: the red light that indicates the blocking of the burner will turn off immediately (after the above mentioned process) and recommence the ignition cycle. If the block situation repeats itself during this phase, one should call the technical service of the burner because there may be a dangerous fault. 19

CICLO DEL FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL CALENTADOR AIR HEATER FUNCTIONING CYCLE Después de la instalación del completo especial, el calentador tendrá un control triple para garantizar la seguridad del funcionamiento: todos los sensores del termostato están posicionados al lado de la salida del aire. EL FUNCIONAMIENTO El quemador empieza a funcionar. Dentro de unos minutos, cuando el aire alcanza ESTANDARTE la temperatura de 40 el termostato FAN activa el comprensor y el aire caliente se siente en el entorno. El calentador se desconecta con el interruptor o un termostato de la cámara. Al principio deben parar el quemador, después el calentador. EL CONTROL DE LA SEGURIDAD NIVEL 1 En la misma posición de la bombilla de la FAN es también el termostato sonda de LÍMIT termostato (fig.l o fig.o pos. 6). Este sensor tiene la función de detener el quemador sólo cuando la temperatura de la salida supera un valor de alrededor de 80 C. El quemador se reinicia de forma automática cuando cesa la causa del sobrecalentamiento y la temperatura más abajo del nivel del valor de 80 C. NIVEL 2 Este nivel de intervención está garantizada por el termostato de seguridad con rearme manual (fig. L o fig. O pos. 3). Cuando la temperatura del aire, debido a un calentamiento excesivo del generador alcanza los 100 C, el termostato abre el contacto y se detiene el grabador. En este caso, después de la identificación de la causa que dio lugar a un sobrecalentamiento, es necesario llevar a cabo un reajuste manual para reiniciar el generador. The heater is equipped with a triple thermostat (FAN, LIMIT and SAFETY THERMOSTAT), in order to guarantee a safe functioning which is obtained in the following manner. All the sensors of the thermostats are positioned near the air outlet. STANDARD FUNCTIONING The burner starts functioning. After few minutes, when the air on the outlet reaches approximately 40 C, the FAN thermostat (fig. L o fig. O pos. 5) will activate the blower and warm air starts being blown into the environment. The heater will be stopped by a switch or by a room thermostat. Firstly it is stopped the burner and after few minutes also the blower. SECURITY CONTROL LEVEL 1 In the same position of the FAN sensor it is fixed the LIMIT sensor (fig. L o fig. O pos. 6). It stops the burner if the temperature on the outlet reaches a preset value of 80 C. If the temperature goes down the burner restarts automatically. LEVEL 2 In the same position of the FAN and of the LIMIT sensors it is fixed the safety thermostat sensor (fig. L o fig. O pos. 3). It is regulated to stop the burner if the temperature on the outlet reaches 100 C. In this case, after the identification of the defect that has caused the overheating, it is necessary to use the manual reset on the control box to restart the heater. 20
