2 PRE-REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS UPF BARCELONA SUMMER SCHOOL Applying to the UPF Barcelona Summer School requires a pre-registration. Please, follow the instructions to pre-register. This is a process of 2 steps: 1ST- GET YOUR IDENTIFICATION CODES 2ND- FILL IN THE STUDENT APPLICATION FORM (If you are a UPF student, you don t need to complete this step. Please follow the Registration Instructions website). UPF Barcelona Summer School

3 1st GET YOUR IDENTIFICATION CODES First, you need to get your identification codes by clicking here. Fill in your personal data on the first screen. (!) Please, introduce your date of birth with European format (ddmmyyyy). Verify and accept the privacy conditions on the second screen. We recommend you to print the third screen so that you have your ID and password to access the system. Once you have completed this step you will receive an auto-reply .(please disregard this message and go directly to fill in the exchange student application). 2nd FILL IN THE EXCHANGE STUDENT APPLICATION Once you are registered and you have received an auto-reply , you can access the application form by clicking here. 1/ ACCESS TO THE FORM In order to access to the form, you will need to enter your ID (Passport or ID number, as written in the previous step) and password (date of birth using the format ddmmyyyy). Click on Movilidad : 1

4 2/ SELECT YOUR EXCHANGE PROGRAMME Select the Barcelona Summer School + Add 3/ FILL IN YOUR PERSONAL DATA Write correctly all data requested. 4/ FILL IN THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE EXCHANGE AND UP-LOAD YOUR PICTURE AND DOCUMENTS In order to complete your registration you have to upload the requested compulsory documents (.pdf). If you don t upload them, you won t be able to finish the process: A photocopy of your identity card or passport. A passport-size picture (max 75kb). It must be a Passport picture style (without sunglasses or hat). A photocopy of your medical insurance valid during your stay in Barcelona. A photocopy of your transcript of records stating that: You are a second, third of fourth- year degree student at the time of the application. You have a minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA (of a 4.0 scale) or equivalent. You have taken a minimum of one college-level Spanish semester at your home institution (if this does not show in your transcript, please 2

5 provide us with a certificate of the language school where you followed the language course). 5/ INDICATE YOUR HOME UNIVERSITY When selecting your home university s country, you ll see UPF s partner universities 6/ COMPLETE THE INFORMATION OF THE EXCHANGE Kind of program of exchange at the UPF: Barcelona Summer School Now you have to select your faculty/school which is 550 International Study Abroad Program.Important: do not select any other school! 3

6 7/ INDICATE YOUR STUDY PERIOD AT UPF Now, you should specify the duration of your stay as follows: o Academic year: o Select the option named Others. o Dates: from 01/03/2016 to 31/08/2016 (state the following dates in order to have access to the UPF intranet). 8/ SAVE YOUR REGISTRATION Finally, select save and congratulations, you have completed your on-line registration! 7 INSTRUCCIONES PARA EL PRE-REGISTRO UPF BARCELONA SUMMER SCHOOL La participación en la UPF Barcelona Summer School requiere un pre-registro. Por favor, lee atentamente la siguiente información y sigue las instrucciones. Este proceso está compuesto por dos pasos: 1- OBTÉN LA IDENTIFICACIÓN EN EL SISTEMA 2- COMPLETA EL FORMULARIO CON LA DOCUMENTACIÓN REQUERIDA (Si eres estudiante de la UPF, no hace falta que completes este paso. Por favor, sigue las instrucciones de registro de nuestra página web. 5

8 1. OBTÉN LA IDENTIFICACIÓN EN EL SISTEMA Para obtener la identificación en el sistema, haz clic aquí. En la primera pantalla rellena tus datos personales. (!) Por favor, introduce la fecha de nacimiento en formato europeo (ddmmaaaa). En la segunda, verifica y acepta las condiciones de privacidad. Te recomendamos que imprimas la tercera pantalla para tener en todo momento tu ID (número de pasaporte o dni) y contraseña (tu fecha de nacimiento en formato ddmmaaaa) para acceder al sistema. 2. COMPLETA EL FORMULARIO CON LA DOCUMENTACIÓN REQUERIDA Una vez te hayas registrado y recibas el de respuesta automática, podrás acceder al formulario de solicitud haciendo clic aquí. 1/ ACCEDE AL FORMULARIO Para acceder, necesitarás introducir tu usuario (número de pasaporte) y tu contraseña (fecha de nacimiento en formato europeo ddmmaaaa) tal como has escrito en el paso anterior. Haz clic en Movilidad 6

2/ SELECCIONA TU PROGRAMA Selecciona Barcelona Summer School y + Añadir 3/ INTRODUCE TUS DATOS PERSONALES Rellena correctamente todos los datos que se te piden.

9 2/ SELECCIONA TU PROGRAMA Selecciona Barcelona Summer School y + Añadir 3/ INTRODUCE TUS DATOS PERSONALES Rellena correctamente todos los datos que se te piden. 4/ COMPLETA LA INFORMACIÓN SOBRE TU ESTANCIA Y SUBE LA DOCUMENTACIÓN REQUERIDA Para completar el registro, deberás subir la siguiente documentación obligatoria en formato electrónico (PDF): Una fotocopia de tu pasaporte o documento de identidad. Una fotografía tamaño carnet (máx. 75kb). (Debe ser una foto de cara sin gafas de sol, tipo pasaporte). Una copia de la cobertura de tu seguro sanitario durante su estancia en la UPF. Una copia de tu expediente académico que certifique que : - Eres estudiante de segundo, tercer o cuarto año de carrera en el momento del registro. - Tienes un mínimo de cum GPA de 3.0 (en escala de 4.0) o equivalente. - Has completado un mínimo de un semestre de idioma español en tu universidad de origen (en todos los casos). Serán también aceptados 7

10 certificados de escuelas de idiomas equivalentes a un semestre de español en caso que no hayas cursado español en la universidad. 5/ INDICA UNIVERSIDAD DE ORIGEN Cuando selecciones el país, se cargarán automáticamente las universidades con las que existe un convenio en el programa de intercambio seleccionado: 6/ SELECCIONA LOS DATOS DEL INTERCAMBIO: Tipo de programa de intercambio: Barcelona Summer School Ahora, en el campo Facultad/Escuela deberás seleccionar 550 International Study Abroad Program: 8

11 7/ INDICA EL PERIODO DE ESTUDIO EN LA UPF o Año académico: o Selecciona la opción Otros. o Fechas: Del 01/03/2016 al 31/08/2016 (No son las fechas reales de tu estancia, pero debes introducir estas fechas para tener acceso a la Intranet UPF).
