1 Oh Hijo del Espíritu! Mi primer consejo es éste: Posee un corazón puro, bondadoso y radiante. O Son of Spirit! My first counsel is this: Possess a pure, kindly and radiant heart.

2 Hollad la senda de la justicia, porque éste es, ciertamente, el camino recto. Tread ye the path of justice, for this, verily is the straight path.

3 En el jardín de tu corazón no plantes sino la rosa del amor. In the garden of thy heart plant naught but the rose of love.

4 La veracidad es la base de todas las virtudes humanas. Truthfulness is the foundation of all human virtues.

5 Dar y ser generoso son de Mis atributos; bienaventurado es aquel que se adorna con Mis virtudes. To give and to be generous are attributes of Mine; well is it with him that adorneth himself with My virtues.

6 Bendito quien prefiere a su hermano antes que a sí mismo. Blessed is he who preferreth his brother before himself.

7 Oh Hijo del Hombre! Regocíjate en la alegría de tu corazón, para que seas digno de encontrarme y de reflejar Mi belleza. O Son of Man! Rejoice in the gladness of thine heart, that thou mayest be worthy to meet Me and to mirror forth My beauty.

8 Debemos en todo momento manifestar nuestra veracidad y sinceridad... We should at all times manifest our truthfulness and sincerity...

9 Oh Hijo del Hombre! Sé humilde ante Mí, para que Yo te visite misericordiosamente. O Son of Man! Humble thyself before Me, that I may graciously visit thee.

10 Sed felices y estad complacidos y disponeos a ofrecer gracias a Dios, de modo que ese agradecimiento pueda conducir al aumento de las dádivas. Be thou happy and well pleased and arise to offer thanks to God, in order that thanksgiving may conduce to the increase of bounty.

11 ... que vuestro adorno sea el perdón y la clemencia, y aquello que alegre los corazones de los favorecidos de Dios.... let your adorning be forgiveness and mercy and that which cheereth the hearts of the well-favored of God.

12 Embelleced vuestras lenguas, oh pueblo, con la veracidad, y adornad vuestras almas con el ornamento de la honradez. Beautify your tongues, O people, with truthfulness, and adorn your souls with the ornament of honesty.

13 El Reino de Dios se basa en la equidad y la justicia, y también en la misericordia, la compasión, y la bondad para con toda alma viviente. The Kingdom of God is founded upon equity and justice, and also upon mercy, compassion, and kindness to every living soul.

14 Has de saber que tu verdadero adorno consiste en el amor a Dios y en tu desprendimiento de todo salvo de Él... Know that thy true adornment consisteth in the love of God and in thy detachment from all save Him...

15 La fuente de toda gloria es aceptar todo aquello que el Señor otorga y contentarse con lo que Dios ordena. The source of all glory is acceptance of whatsoever the Lord hath bestowed, and contentment with that which God hath ordained.

16 Bienaventurado el que se asocia con todos los hombres en espíritu de máxima bondad y amor. Blessed is he who mingleth with all men in a spirit of utmost kindliness and love.

17 La fuente del valor y del poder es la promoción de la Palabra de Dios y la firmeza en Su Amor. The source of courage and power is the promotion of the Word of God, and steadfastness in His Love.

18 Ten siempre esperanza, pues la dádivas de Dios nunca cesan de descender sobre el hombre. Be thou ever hopeful, for the bounties of God never cease to flow upon man.

19 La confiabilidad es el más grande portal que conduce a la tranquilidad y seguridad de los pueblos. Trustworthiness is the greatest portal leading unto the tranquillity and security of the people.

20 Verdaderamente, suplico a Dios que encienda en vuestro corazón el fuego de Su amor... Verily, I supplicate God to enkindle in thy heart the fire of His love...

21 Oh Hijo del Ser! Tú eres Mi lámpara y Mi luz está en ti. Obtén de ella tu resplandor y no busques a nadie sino a Mí. O Son of Being! Thou art My lamp and My light is in thee. Get thou from it thy radiance and seek none other than Me.

22 Dichoso el fiel que está ataviado con la vestidura del empeño elevado y se ha levantado para servir a esta Causa. Happy is the faithful one who is attired with the vesture of high endeavor and hath arisen to serve this Cause.

23 Él, en verdad, aumentará la recompensa de aquellos que soportan con paciencia. He, verily, shall increase the reward of them that endure with patience.

24 Sumamente elevada será tu posición si permaneces firme en la Causa de tu Señor. Supremely lofty will be thy station, if thou remainest steadfast in the Cause of thy Lord.
