1 1- GENERAL CONDITIONS: The competitions will be held in accordance with the IWF Constitution and By-Laws and IWF Technical and Competition Rules and Regulations and will be under the control of the Pan American Federation. Participants must be born until 2003 (13 years old) until PLACE AND DATE: Competitions will take place in the Coliseo Deportivo ciudad de los deportes, zona 4 de la ciudad de Guatemala. The accommodation will be in: Mercure Hotels, 12 calle 1-24 zona 10, ciudad de Guatemala Telephone: (502) , (502) From September 20 th to 24 th, 2016 Arrival of delegations: 19 th September 2016 Departure of delegations: 25 th September ELEGIBILITY: Only competitors of National Weightlifting Federations / Associations affiliated to the PAWF are eligible to participate in the Pan American Championships.. 4- EVENTOS: The bodyweight categories will be as established by the IWF, according to the bodyweight:. o Women: 44, 48, 53, 58, 63, 69, +69 o Men: 50, 56, 62, 69, 77, 85, 94, ENTRIES: Preliminary entries must be sent before August 19 th, Final entries must be sent before August 30 th, 2016.

2 6- FINANCIAL CONDITIONS: o Single room US$ per person per night o Double room US$ per person per night o Triple room US$ per person per night o Minimum stay 4 nights 7- ENTRY FEE: o Athletes US$ (including doping fee). o Officials US$ (These fees are payable in cash upon arrival for your respective accreditation) 8- ACREDITATIONS: o The accreditation will take place at the accreditation center in the host hotel upon-arrival. o The passports of the members of the delegation must be shown during the accreditation 9- BARBELL: IWF approved ELEIKO barbells will be used in competitions and training. 10- FINAL VERIFICATION: Will be held on September 20th at 14:00 hours. 11- TECHNICAL MEETING: Will be held on September 20th at 15:00 hours. 12- OPENING CEREMONY: Will be held at the Coliseo Deportivo on September 20 th at 18:00 hours. 13- DOPING CONTROL : Doping Control will be conducted in accordance with the IWF Anti-Doping Policy. 14- AWARDS: Snatch, Clean & Jerk and Total will be awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals for the First, Second and Third place respectively. A trophy will be awarded for the best 3 team in Men and Women A trophy will be awarded for the 3 best 3 lifter in Men and Women. Please bring your National Anthem and your flag.

3 15- TECHNICAL OFFICIALS: Will be appointed by the PAWF, which will be exempt of payment of accommodation, food and local transportation. 16- VISA: We kindly ask you to apply for Visa in the Consulate of your country.
