Plus new CommuterLink Express routes 200 and 205 coming soon. On January 8, 207, the Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) will close the Riverside Downtown Terminal and launch an ambitious new way of serving downtown Riverside. The change, which will introduce new and upgraded bus stops at more than 20 central locations, is designed to maintain world-class service during a time of expansion and growth. Downtown Riverside isn t the only place getting a facelift. RTA will adjust several routes across the region for improved connections with other buses and Metrolink trains. The Agency will also adjust various schedules to maintain on-time performance and service efficiency. Customers can look forward to a new-and-improved Route 3, which will combine and replace Route 35 to better serve Hemet, an Jacinto, Beaumont and Moreno Valley. And coming in early 207, RTA will launch CommuterLink Express Route 200, with service from Riverside to Anaheim, and CommuterLink Express Route 205, which will connect Temecula with the Village at Orange. Details coming soon on when these new routes will begin. During the busiest travel times of the weekday, Route 6 service frequency will be boosted to every 5 minutes.
