Presente Simple En la oración afirmativa no se utilizara auxiliar. El verbo se utilizara en su forma presente y se le agregara s al verbo cuando el sujeto corresponda a la tercera persona singular (He, She, It). Solo se le agregara s al verbo cuando sea oración afirmativa, en presente simple y con la tercera persona singular. (Se agrega es cuando el verbo termina en X, O, S, H). En las oraciones interrogativa y negativa los auxiliares a utilizar serán Do y Does. Do para I, You, We, They; y Does para He, She, It. Afirmativa: Sujeto + Verbo + complemento Negativa: Sujeto + auxiliar + not + verbo + complemento Interrogativa: Auxiliar + sujeto + verbo + complemento? Ella lee un libro Ella no lee un libro Lee ella un libro? Yo escribo una carta Yo no escribo una carta Escribo yo una carta? She reads a book She does not read a book Does she read a book? I write a letter I do not write a letter. Do I write a letter?
2 Pasado Simple En la oración afirmativa del pasado simple tampoco se utilizara auxiliar, el verbo se encontrara en pasado. (Es la única forma en la cual el verbo se encontrara en pasado) Solo se utiliza el verbo en pasado en la oración afirmativa del pasado simple. En las oraciones interrogativa y negativa el verbo se utilizara en su forma infinitiva junto al auxiliar Did. Afirmativa: Sujeto + Verbo (pasado) + complemento Negativa: Sujeto + auxiliar + not + verbo (infinitivo) + complemento Interrogativa: Auxiliar + sujeto + verbo (infinitivo) + complemento? Ella compró un libro Ella no compró un libro Compró ella un libro? Yo envié una carta Yo no envié una carta Envié yo una carta? She bought a book She did not buy a book Did She buy a book? I sent a letter She did not send a letter. Did I send a letter? Futuro Simple Para este tiempo verbal ocuparemos el auxiliar Will para las 3 formas de la oración y lo ocuparemos con el verbo en infinitivo. Con el uso de este auxiliar estaremos agregando el futuro directamente en el verbo. I Buy (Yo compro) I will Buy (Yo compraré) Afirmativa: Sujeto + will + Verbo (infinitivo) + complemento Negativa: Sujeto + will + not + verbo (infinitivo) + complemento. Interrogativa: Will + sujeto + verbo (infinitivo) + complemento? Ella leerá un libro Ella no leerá un libro Leerá ella un libro? Nosotros seremos felices Nosotros no seremos felices Seremos nosotros felices? She will read a book She will not read a book Will she read a book? We will be happy We will not be happy. Will we be happy?
3 Futuro going to. Este tiempo verbal correspondería a la expresión voy a.. en español, se forma usando el verbo to be como ayudante mas el auxiliar going to junto a el verbo principal en su forma presente. Afirmativa: Sujeto + verbo to be + going to + verbo + complemento Interrogativa: Verbo to be + sujeto + going to + verbo + complemento? Negativa: Sujeto + verbo to be + not + going to + verbo + complemento Yo voy a comprar un auto Voy Yo a comprar un auto? Yo no voy a comprar un auto I am going to buy a car Am I going to buy a car? I am not going to buy a car. Adverbios de frecuencia Estos adverbios nos indican cuan a menudo se realiza una acción. Se ubican generalmente antes del verbo, pero después de este cuando es el verbo To Be. I always eat my lunch at two o clock. He is never here Vocabulary Frequency Adverbs. (Expresiones de Cantidad) Many (Mucho) Es utilizado sobretodo en frases negativas e interrogativas con el sustantivo contable. Se puede usar "many" en frases afirmativas, aunque no es muy común. Normalmente, usamos otros cuantificadores como "a lot." Frase negativa: There are not many tourists. (No hay muchos turistas.) Frase interrogativa: How many cats do you have? ( Cuántos gatos tienes?) Frase afirmativa: We have many friends. (Tenemos muchos amigos.) Much (Mucho) Es utilizado sobretodo en frases negativas e interrogativas. La diferencia con "many" es que usamos "much" sólo con nombres incontables. Se puede usar "much" en frases afirmativas, aunque sería más formal y no tan común. Frase negativa: There is not much time. (No hay mucho tiempo.) Frase interrogativa: How much money does he have? ( Cuánto dinero tiene?) Frase afirmativa: We have much to do! ( Tenemos mucho que hacer!) Some (Algunos, Algo de..) Se utiliza tanto para los sustantivos contables. Se usa en frases afirmativas e interrogativas. Frase afirmativa/ contable: She has some apples. (Tiene algunas manzanas.) Frase afirmativa/ incontable: There is some milk in the kitchen. (Hay algo de leche en la cocina.) Frase interrogativa/ contable: Are there some tourists? ( Hay unos turistas?) Frase interrogativa/ incontable: Would you like some coffee? ( Quieres algo de café?)
5 Any (Algunos, ninguno) Se utiliza en los mismos contextos que "some," pero en frases negativas o interrogativas. Frase negativa/ contable: Frase negativa/ incontable: Frase interrogativa/ contable: cambios?) I do not have any cats. (No tengo ningún gato.) He does not have any money. (No tiene dinero.) Are there any changes? ( Hay algunos Frase interrogativa/ incontable: Is there any milk? ( Hay leche?) A lot of/lots of (un monton de.., montones) Expresan idea de gran cantidad. Se puede usar con sustantivos contables e incontables. A diferencia de "many" y "much", no las usamos en frases interrogativas. En general, "lots of" es más informal. Nombre contable: He has a lot of books. (Tiene muchos libros) Nombre contable: He does not have a lot of books. (No tiene muchos libros.) Nombre incontable: I have lots of money. (Tengo mucho dinero.) Nombre incontable: I do not have a lot of money. (No tengo mucho dinero.) Little/A little (un poco de ) Expresan una cantidad pequeña y se usan sólo con sustantivos incontables. Frase interrogativa: Do you have a little money? ( Tienes un poco de dinero?) Frase afirmativa: We have little time. (Tenemos poco tiempo.) Few/A few (Pocos) Expresan un número pequeño. "A few" puede indicar un número suficiente. Se usan sólo con sustantivos contables. Frase interrogativa: Do you have a few dollars? ( Tienes unos dolares?) Frase afirmativa: hoy.)
