1 Daimler Rejection and Warning Code List La Daimler Rejection and Warning Code List contiene las razones estandarizadas de rechazo en la revisión de hojas de material (MDB) IMDS. Por favor, corrija sus MDB según los rechazos respectivos y las indicaciones de advertencia. El orden de los rechazos y las indicaciones de advertencia corresponde al orden de los materiales en la MDB, de arriba hacia abajo. The Daimler Rejection and Warning Code list contains the standardised reasons for rejection when checking IMDS material data sheets (MDS). Please correct your MDS to in line with the rejections and warnings concerned. The sequence of rejections and warnings is equivalent to the top down sequence of materials in the MDS. The reasons for rejection are based on the legal stipulations and/or the latest IMDS Recommendations issued by the IMDS Steering Committee and/or Daimler ELV change-over time schedule. If you have any questions, please refer in the first instance to the IMDS Recommendations or the relevant material standards and laws. If you still then have questions, please contact the MDS inspector indicated below citing the reason for rejection or get in contact by imds@daimler.com Please note that the latest version of the IMDS Recommendations, the standards and laws and the Daimler Rejection and Warning Code List are available for you. Por favor, introduzca el número de referencia sin más datos, como p.ej. clave complementaria, y sin espacios vacíos. El número de referencia Daimler comienza con 1 hasta 3 letras. Incorrect part number Please correct part number, since part number is not recognized by the Daimler MDS checking tool and MDS cannot be assigned to Daimler bill of materials. Please enter part number without supplementary code and blanks. Part number starts with 1 to 3 alpha characters and follows with 10 digits for design components and 12 digits for standard components. Incorrect supplier code Please enter supplier code with eight-digits. Please do not use blanks or special signs. Five digit supplier codes for AMG will not be identified, please enter the eight-digit supplier code for Mercedes-Benz. Please do not use a D-U-N-S number. Supplementary code is missing or has incorrect format. SC1 defines e.g. packaging unit or production level of component and includes 4 numerics. SC2 defines colour variant of component and includes 4 digits with numerics and alpha characters. Deviation between measured weight per item and calculated weight per item is higher then allowed. Deviation between measured weight per item in Daimler bill of materials and measured weight per item in MDS is higher then 5% and thus not allowed. Drawing geometry technical level is missing or has incorrect format (DGL format is specified by three digits for, e.g. 001) Wild cards are only acceptable in total not more than 10% basic substance. Para plásticos, elastómeros, elastómeros termoplásticos y metales deben emplearse las designaciones o símbolos abreviados de la norma respectiva, ver la Directiva IMDS 001. Por favor, modifique la designación alemana y la inglesa. ²G002 La clasificación de material es incorrecta Por favor, seleccione la clasificación según el tipo del material. ²G003 La norma del material es incorrecta Por favor, emplee únicamente la norma de material que incluye datos sobre las sustancias puras. Incorrect material name Please write in the name field the material name, no Trade name, because the material names will be transferred to the inhouse system and therefore the names must be unambiguous. For plastics, elastomers, thermoplastics and metals, you can take the material names or the abbreviated terms from the norms, see IMDS Recommendation 001. Please change the German and the English entries. Incorrect material classification. Disclaimer The contents of the Disclaimer is a contractual issue between Daimler and the respective supplier, not content of the MDS. The Disclaimer and its content, therefore, will generally be rejected here. Flat Bill of Material is intended only for certain applications see IMDS Recommendation 019. Daimler requires at least one genuine component structure level to be stated below the uppermost component nodes. It must be possible to assign materials to the components for MDS checking, Other errors. An error not described in this list has been found. Please you examine your data sheet and heed the IMDS Recommendations. Please do not report unnecessary material levels. This leads to calculation problems when the material is evaluated automatically (analysis), since calculation is based on the highest material level. ¹G018 Por favor, no presente MDB de prototipos. Titan dioxide, Barium sulphate, Calcium carbonate, Chalk, etc are fillers according to ISO and must be declared as such. Please adapt symbol and classification. For elastomers, please complete the symbol field (abbreviated term) in acc. with ISO Please read IMDS Recommendation 001 and 003. Please report coloured elastomers in analogy to coloured plastics, Please read IMDS Recommendation 001 and 010. For thermoplastic elastomers, please complete the symbol field (abbreviated term) in acc. with ISO (number 5 and 6), please read also IMDS Recommendation 001 and 013.
