1 Estación Uno: Date, Weather, and How you feel Learning Target: We are learning to write the date, talk about the weather outside, and state how we feel.. Criteria for Success: I can write the date in Spanish. I can talk about the weather in Spanish using the verb HACER. I can talk about how I feel using the verb SENTIR. LA FECHA Ejemplo: Mi cumpleaños es el 30 de mayo del Escribe la fecha de hoy: Escribe la fecha de ayer: Escribe la fecha de mañana: El CLIMA: Está lloviendo? Hace calor? Hace frio? Hace sol? Ejemplo: En el otoño está fresco y hace un poco de frío. Write as many weather related words as you can think of. When you are done talk about what the weather is like in the following seasons (estaciones): verano, otoño, invierno, y primavera. Cómo te sientes? (SENTIR= to feel) Ejemplo: Hoy me siento muy cansada. Necesito dormir para poder tener mas energía. Quiero dormir mucho esta noche. Tell me how you feel today. Remember to use your adjectives when writing this. (3 oraciones)

2 Estación Dos: How old are you?/physical Characteristics Learning Target: We are learning to say our age and describe ourselves physically. Criteria for Success: I can use the proper conjugation of TENER to state my age. I can use adjectives to describe myself. Cuantos años tienes? Ejemplo: La Señorita Lugo tiene treinta un (31) años. I want to know the age of the following people. Write it in Spanish. Cuantos años tiene.. tus compañeros de equipo? tu mama? Channing Tatum? Justin Beiber? Taylor Swift? Lil Wayne? Jennifer Lopez? Enrique Iglesias? Cómo eres? Cómo son? Write a brief description about youself (2 oraciones) Write a brief description about your team member (2 oraciones for each)

3 Estación Tres: Me gusta/ No me gusta Learning Target: We are learning how talk and write about our likes and dislikes. Criteria for Success: I can conjugate GUSTAR using the proper indirect object pronoun (me, te, le, nos, and les). I can make GUSTAR plural by adding an (n) to the conjugatation based on the subject of my sentence. EJEMPLO: 1. Me gustan los San Antonio Spurs. 2. Me gusta tomar café de Starbucks. 3. Me gusta ir a College Station para los partidos de fútbol americano. 4. No me gusta UT. 5. No me gustan los dulces. 6. No me gusta estar lejos de mi familia. Write three things you like in a complete sentence in Spanish. Write three things you don t like in a complete sentence in Spanish. Write one thing each of your team members likes. (Remember the indirect object pronoun will change.) Write one thing each of your team members doesn t like.

Criteria for Success: I can say greet someone in Spanish. I can describe myself using the proper adjective/noun agreement. HOLA!... ADIOS! (Hello/Goobye) Write all the greetings that you can remember from Spanish 1. They call me Mr./Miss Personality Describe your personality traits. (3 oraciones) Describe each of your team memebers personality traits. (2 oraciones each.) Estación Cuatro: Greetings and Personality Characteristics.
