1 Section , Texas Election Code BW1-5, 01/2015 NOTICE OF CHALLENGE OF APPLICATION Notice is hereby given that your application for voter registration has been challenged pursuant to Sec Texas Election Code. The ground(s) for challenge is/are: You are not a U.S. Citizen. You are under 17 years, 10 months of age. You have been convicted of a felony. You have been determined by a final judgment of a court exercising probate jurisdiction to be totally mentally incapacitated or partially mentally incapacitated without the right to vote. The information you provided appears to match the record of a deceased person. Your application was submitted in the following unauthorized manner: You are entitled to a hearing on this challenge by submitting a written, signed request for a hearing to me not later than the 10th day after the date of the challenge. I have enclosed a form that you may use to request a hearing. If you request a hearing, I will schedule a hearing to be held not later than the 10th day after your request is filed, or a later date if you so request. You may appear personally at the hearing or you may submit an affidavit that satisfies the grounds of the challenge before the hearing begins.
