5 PART B: COMPREHENSION 1 Hola! Me llamo Nora y vivo en Pamplona, una ciudad del norte de España. Vivo con mi madre, mi padre y mis dos hermanos. Vivimos en un piso antiguo pero es bonito y grande. En mi piso hay 8 habitaciones: 4 dormitorios (mi dormitorio, el de mis padres, y los dormitorios de mis hermanos), una cocina, un salón, un aseo, un cuarto de baño, y también el piso tiene una terraza y un patio. También hay un pasillo. Tenemos un garaje en el sótano del edificio (abajo), y un trastero en el ático (arriba). A. 6 PART B: COMPREHENSION 2 1) Read the text: Vivimos en Trujillo, una ciudad venezolana situada en las montañas de los Andes. La ciudad es muy histórica y se pueden visitar museos, monumentos y la catedral que es del estilo barroco y romántico. Hay muchos restaurantes donde comer, colegios para niños y polideportivos a las afueras de la ciudad. Vivimos en una casa grande cerca del centro. La casa tiene tres plantas y un jardín muy bonito detrás. En la planta baja están el comedor, la cocina, el salón y el despacho de papá. En la primera planta hay dos dormitorios bastante espaciosos y el cuarto de baño y arriba está el ático donde yo tengo mi dormitorio. Me encanta mi dormitorio porque tengo una cama muy grande y hay posters de mis artistas favoritos por todas partes. En mi dormitorio, tengo dos armarios y dos ventanas con cortinas blancas. También hay una cómoda al lado de la puerta y un escritorio a la derecha de la cómoda. iah! 9 PART D: TRANSLATION 1 Translate the following paragraph into English. Mi casa es de dos plantas. Tiene cuatro habitaciones. En la planta baja hay un pasillo, una cocina, un salón y un comedor. En la primera planta hay un cuarto de baño, un cuarto de aseo, el dormitorio de mis padres y mi dormitorio. Tiene un jardín, pero no tiene garaje. PART D: TRANSLATION 2 En el pasado vivía en España pero en este momento vivo en Whitworth un pueblo pequeño que está en el noroeste de Inglaterra en el campo. Voy a describir donde vivo. Primero, vivo en una casa de talla media y mi casa es de dos plantas. Tiene cuatro habitaciones en total. En la planta baja hay un pasillo ancho, una cocina muy moderna, un salón bastante grande y un comedor cómodo. En la primera planta hay un cuarto de baño, un aseo, el dormitorio de mis padres y mi dormitorio que en mi opinión es lo mejor porque tengo tengo muchos posters de mis grupos de rock favoritos aunque me gustaría tener un ordenador. Fuera, tenemos un jardín, pero no hay un garaje lo que no es conveniente.
