En virtud de lo establecido en la Norma de Carácter General N 352, por medio de la presente adjunto información considerada como relevante para la empresa, que ha sido entregada el día de hoy, en el Alternative Investment Market ( AIM ), mercado secundario del London Stock Exchange, en donde mediante un comunicado de prensa se informa la fijación de precio de su oferta pública inicial de acciones ordinarias en los Estados Unidos, en conexión con su registro en la Bolsa de Nueva York ( NYSE ). Se informa igualmente respecto a la intención de la Compañía a proceder con la cancelación de la admisión de la transacción de sus acciones en el AIM. The Company s common shares are expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange ( NYSE ) today under the ticker symbol "GPRK." In connection with the offering, the underwriters exercised in full their option to purchase an additional 800,000 common shares from the Company at the public offering price. GeoPark intends to use a portion of the net proceeds from the offering to finance or accelerate the growth of its operations in its current asset base, or organic expansion, and, following the completion of certain of its recent acquisitions in Brazil, its Brazilian assets, or for general corporate purposes. In addition, GeoPark may use a portion of the net proceeds from the offering for opportunistic acquisitions in Chile, Colombia and Brazil, as well as in other countries in South America. Closing of the offering and the commencement of unconditional dealings in the IPO Shares is expected on 12 February 2014, following which the Company will have 57,361,614 common shares in issue. The IPO Shares, which will rank pari passu in all respects with the Company's existing common shares, will represent approximately 23.5 percent of the enlarged issued share capital of the Company. Mr. Quamme, a director of the Company, is the co-founder and President of Cartica Management, LLC. The issue of IPO Shares to the above Directors and/or their connected entities is deemed to be a Related Party Transaction under Rule 13 of the AIM Rules for Companies. Se espera que las acciones comunes de la Compañía inicien su transacción en la Bolsa de Comercio de Nueva York ( NYSE ) hoy bajo el símbolo "GPRK." En relación a la oferta, los suscriptores ejercieron en su totalidad la oferta de adquirir acciones adicionales de la Compañía el precio de la oferta pública. Es intención de GeoPark utilizar parte de los fondos netos resultantes de la oferta para financiar o acelerar el crecimiento de sus operaciones sobre su actual base de activos o expansión orgánica y, con posterioridad al término de algunas de sus recientes adquisiciones en Brasil, de sus activos brasileros, o para propósitos corporativos en general. Además, GeoPark podrá utilizar una parte de los fondos netos resultantes de la oferta para oportunidades de adquisiciones en Chile, Colombia y Brasil, además de otros países de América del Sur. El cierre de la oferta y el inicio de transacciones incondicionales de las Acciones IPO se espera ocurra el 12 de febrero de 2014, con posterioridad a lo cual la Compañía contará con acciones comunes emitidas.
