Un libro emotivo que NO es sólo para fans By Sara Vera Beltran Aunque yo soy fan de Ricky Martin (y, por lo tanto, no soy objetiva) puedo decir que creo sinceramente que este libro resultará interesante para todo tipo de público. Primero que todo, porque está escrito en forma amena, sin pretensiones, de manera muy ágil y entretenida. Esto, sin embargo, no quiere decir que sea superficial. Al contrario, más que un relato de hechos sensacionalistas (si buscan leer detalles escándalosos, se van a decepcionar, no hay nada de eso) es el testimonio de cómo Ricky ha sentido, cómo ha sufrido y disfrutado, una vida y una carrera extraordinaria. Sorprende la sencillez y la humildad con la que relata sus éxitos y sus dificultades, tanto en lo personal como lo profesional, lo que hace que, pese a lo lejana que puede parecer la vida de una superestrella, sea posible entenderlo y empatizar con su historia. Es que, en vez de presentar el glamour que ciertamente lo ha rodeado, nos deja ver sus miedos, inseguridades, pasiones y alegrías; es decir, se muestra como un hombre y no como un "ídolo". Una buena edición en Kindle ebook By Sara Andrea Además de lo que se puede decir del contenido del libro, que me encantó (hay muy buenos reviews que pueden revisar, en inglés especialmente) quiero destacar que afortunadamente exista esta edición para Kindle en español. Pese a que no fue lanzado simultáneamente con el ebook en inglés (Me), se agradece que haya salido con poca diferencia de tiempo. El ebook de "Yo" está bien formateado e incluso tiene una ventaja sobre el ebook en inglés, ya que incluye la portada original, con foto de Omar Cruz, lo que no ocurre en la edición en inglés (lo sé porque también la tengo). By Maribel Sanchez En una forma sumamente interesante y cautivadora, nos relata Ricky Martin sus experiencias. Es de admirar que, aunque nos cuenta todos sus logros como la estrella mundial que es, lo hace con el propósito de mostrarnos que todo esto, no lo hace diferente a cualquier ser humano. A través de esta lectura, logra cautivarnos y transmitirnos cómo debemos enfocarnos en las cosas realmente importantes en la vida. Nos muestra los valores más importantes: la humildad, el amor por la familia, el valor del trabajo y la compasión por los problemas de los demás. Quiero resaltar que fue muy inteligente de su parte utilizar su libro para dar a conocer un poco más sobre el problema de la trata humana y el trabajo que su fundación está haciendo. Nos cuenta historias y nos da ejemplos tan gráficos que mueve las fibras de cualquier corazón y crea conciencia sobre este gran problema.
