If no retailer policy exists, please contact SECURMOUNT, Inc. with inquiries. 3-STEP INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO INSTALLING, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING WARNING: - Do not install this product without carefully reading the instructions first. - Do not install if you do not understand the instructions. - Do not install if you have doubts on safety. - Please contact a qualified contractor or SECURMOUNT immediately if you have questions, damaged or missing parts. - Do not use this product if your Flat Panel TV weighs more than 175 lbs or if you are not hanging on a vertical wall. - This product is for mounting Flat Panel Video Displays only. - Do not install if under the influence of any drug or alcohol. - Thoroughly check for missing or damaged parts. - 2 or more capable adults are required to safely install - Do not install if you are missing, have damaged parts or do not have the correct tools. - Incorrect installation may cause severe physical injury or damage. - Do not use this product for anything other than the described application outlined by this document - SECURMOUNT is not liable for damage or injury caused by incorrect mounting, incorrect assembly, or incorrect use. - Mounting surfaces only include: 2 x 4 (or larger) wood framed or concrete wall - Do not use this product for mounting steel stud walls or hollow block walls (cinder block, etc.). - Contact a qualified contractor if you don t know what type of walls you have. Mounting hanger assembly to flat panel TV (I) Remove flat panel TV legs and retain the 4 lock washers and 4 mounting bolts. Remove and retain spacers if present. To attach each hanger (if manufacturer bolts don t work, use hardware from included WSK-40 bolt kit). (2) on back of TV, first install mounting bolt into preselected hole in top half of hanger (use same hanger hole for both hangers) into TV mount hole. Be sure that the center of the hangers are close to the center of the TV. Be sure to use washer. Hand tighten bottom mounting bolts. Repeat process on bottom half of hangers. Tighten all 4 bolts securely. Do not overtighten. (II) Double check hanger mounting screws are firmly tightened into display. Install hangers into TV mount holes here

2 PROCEED TO STEP 2A IF MOUNTING ON A WOOD STUD WALL OR STEP 2B IF MOUNTING ON A SOLID CONCRETE OR CONCRETE BLOCK WALL. THEN FINISH WITH STEP 3. Mounting Wall Plate onto Wood Stud Wall (I) (a) Measure the distance between the top of the TV and the top of the mount hanger hook arch (hangers are installed in Step 1). (b) Determine where you want your TV on the wall. With a pencil, mark a level horizontal line on the wall where the top of TV will be. (c) Using a pencil, mark additional horizanantal line below the line marked in Step I-b at the distance obtained in Step A. This is the top line for the wall plate installation. Be sure line is level. (II) Using a stud sensor, identify (2-3) studs that are a minimum of 16 apart along the horizontal line identified in Step I-c. Mark 2-3 vertical lines identifying where center line of wall studs are present. The wall must be in good condition and have a flat surface (Note: mount is to be installed on a min. 2 x 4 wood framed stud wall with maximum of 16 between studs. Install with provided hardware only.) (III) (a) Hold Wall Plate and align the top along the lower horizontal line from Step I-c. With pencil, outline the 2-3 Wall Plate holes that align with 2-3 vertical lines identified in Step II. (b) Using 3/16 bit, drill 2-3 lag bolt pilot holes to a depth of 3 in the center of the marked holes from Step III-a. Be sure to drill holes at (90 o ) to the wall and the center line of the wall studs as identified in Step II.(c) Attach Wall Plate by ratcheting Lag Bolts and washers through Wall Plate and into pre-drilled holes as shown in diagram on right. Be sure Lag Bolts are firmly tightened until completely flush with wall plate. Do not overtighten Lag Bolts. Be sure Wall Plate is level. Bolt Wall plate onto two studs (minimum) Mounting Wall Plate onto Concrete Wall (I) (a) Measure the distance between the top of the TV and the top of the mount hanger hook arch (hangers are installed in Step 1). (b) Determine where you want your TV on the wall. With a pencil, mark a level horizontal line on the wall where the top of TV will be. (c) Using a pencil, mark additional horizontal line below the line marked in Step I-b at the distance obtained in Step A. This is the top line for the wall plate installation. Be sure line is level. (II) Hold Wall Plate and align the top along the lower horizontal line from Step I-c. Use pencil to mark wall where you plan to drill 3 holes within the slot line using the Wall Plate as a guide, making sure that the holes are as evenly spaced as possible from both ends of Wall Plate (1 on each end & 1 in middle). Using level, draw line on top Wall Plate to ensure level install. Make sure the holes are drilled square (90 o ). (III) Drill holes using a 1/2 masonry bit to a depth of 2 deep. (IV) Insert concrete anchor bolt with expansion sleeve into drilled holes. Be sure thread of bolt is facing outward and slotted end of sleeve enters hole first. Thread part of bolt should pertrude from wall a minimum of 5/8. (V) Attach Wall Plate onto concrete anchor bolts, place washers on bolts on and then ratchet nuts against washers as shown in diagram on right. This will expand the anchor sleeves and secure the plate to the wall. Be sure concrete nuts are firmly tightened until completely flush with wall plate. Do not over tighten. Be sure Wall Plate is level. Hanging your TV with hanger assembly onto Wall Plate Note: this step will require 2 or more physically capable adults to ensure safety. (I) Screw in a rubber foot into the bottom of each hanger. (II) Insert lock hook tool into lock plate (either side) Allow hook to hang vertically below TV (III) Hook the TV with installed hangers over the top of the Wall Plate. Be sure both hangers are securely positioned over the top rail of wall plate. Gently rest the bottom of TV against the wall as shown in diagram on right. (IV) Adjust the TV to desired position by screwing foot hardware to desired depth. (V) Once TV is in final position, pull hook to re-position lock plate into locked position. Repeat process on left side. This secures display onto the Wall Plate. Wall Rubber Foot

(2) al panel posterior de la TV, monte los tornillos de montaje al sondeo prefabricado en el parte superior del Gancho de Montaje(utilize el mismo sondeo del gancho para los dos Ganchos de Montaje) en el sondeo de montaje del TV. Asegúrese que el centro de los Ganchos están aproximadamente en el centro de la TV. Asegúrese de utilizar la arandela. Aprete los tornillos de montaje de la parte superior a mano. Repite el processo en el parte inferior de los ganchos. Apriete los 4 tornillos bien. No los aprieten en exceso. (II) Asegúrese otra vez que los tornillos y perillas de montaje estan bien apretados en la pantalla. 4 PROCEDE AL PASO 2A SI VA A MONTAR SOBRE MUROS CON ESTRUCTURA DE MADERA O PASO 2B SI VA A MONTAR EN MURO DE CONCRETO SOLIDO O BLOQUES DE CONCRETO, LUEGO PROCEDE CON EL PASO 3. Montando la Placa de Muro al muro de estructura de madera. (I) (a) Medir la distancia entre la parte superior y la parte superior del arco del gancho de montaje (gacnhos instalados en Paso 1). (b) Determinar donde quisiera el TV en el muro. Manchar una línea horizontal en e muro donde será el parte superior de la TV con un lápiz. (c) Utilizando un lápiz, manchar otra línea horizontal debajo de la línea manchado en el Paso I-b a la distancia obtenido en el Paso A.
