Greetings Saludos Por: Blanca Rosa González There are different ways to greet people. You need to think before how close and confident you feel with each person and then you can choose an option. The Art of Conversation #2 (Harris, 2009). 1
Figura 2. Women In Management Eleanor McDonald Lecture (Gaskel, 2010). 2
Figura N-0696M-402 (Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, 2010). My name is Olivia. What is your name? My name is Samuel. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you too. Goodbye Goodbye Tabla 1.
Good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening. Good night. Tabla 5. Forma común de despedirse por la noche. 4
Saying Hello A simple hello is often said with one of the following greetings (Brenner, 2003, cap. 9). Hi Hey Hi there Hey there Tabla 6. Opciones informales de saludo. Referencias Brenner, G. (2003). Websterʼs New World American Idioms Handbook. Indianapolis, Indiana USA. [Versión en línea].
