RESUMEN DEL PROYECTO Este proyecto ha consistido en diseñar una interfaz que permita controlar un robot plano de dos eslabones, haciendo uso del entorno Matlab/Simulink, de forma que el robot pueda: Seguir una trayectoria de líneas rectas definida por el usuario introduciendo puntos con el ratón Seguir una trayectoria definida por el usuario mediante la introducción de palabras vía teclado Seguir una trayectoria continua introducida por el usuario con el ratón para su posterior reproducción con el robot Seguir una trayectoria continua introducida por el usuario con el ratón en tiempo real (sólo finalizado en simulación) Por otro lado, también se han llevado a cabo los siguientes objetivos adicionales: Diseño de un dispositivo capaz de subir y bajar el rotulador que se utiliza para que el robot pinte que se pueda controlar desde el ordenador Diseño de una utilidad que permita al usuario elegir la velocidad con la que quiere que se envíen los datos de referencia al robot. La interfaz se ha diseñado atendiendo a las características del público a la que está dirigida, esto es, personas con escasos conocimientos técnicos que puedan encontrar interesante una aplicación sencilla que controla un robot. Las características que debe tener la interfaz son: funcionalidad, fiabilidad y sencillez de uso.

2 2 Se ha hecho uso de la aplicación GUIDE de Matlab para programar la interfaz. La interfaz o controla directamente el robot, simplemente accede a los modelos Simulink con los que se controlaba originalmente el movimiento del robot. Estos modelos hacen uso de la tarjeta de adquisición de datos conectada a los elementos de medida y acción del robot, de forma que el ordenador pueda recibir y almacenar los datos deseados. La interfaz controla estos modelos mediante comandos de Matlab específicos, de forma que el usuario con un solo clic puede abrir, compilar y arrancar un modelo, tras haber introducido nuevos valores en sus componentes. 3 3 Ha sido una parte importante del proyecto ver a que velocidad de entrada de los datos de referencia el robot era capaz de seguirlos correctamente. Evidentemente, si la velocidad con que se envían los datos al control es demasiado alta, esto puede provocar una pérdida de precisión, puesto que el robot no puede alcanzar un dato de la referencia antes de que se le envíe el siguiente. Otro aporte hecho ha sido el diseño, fabricación e instalación de un dispositivo que permite al rotulador que lleva acoplado el robot en su extremo, subir y bajar, a por medio de señales enviadas desde la tarjeta de adquisición de datos, que ha su vez recibe ordenes a través de Simulink. 4 4 MANMACHINE INTERFACE FOR TRAYECTORY CONTROL AND PLANNING OF A ROBOTIC ARM This project has consisted of designing an interface that permit to control a plane robot with two links, making use of the environment Matlab/Simulink, so that the robot be able to: Follow a path of user-defined straight lines introducing points with the mouse Follow an user-defined path by means of the keyboard way words introduction Follow a continuous path introduced by the user with the mouse for its subsequent reproduction with the robot Follow a continuous path introduced by the user with mouse in realtime (only finalized in simulation) In addition, the following additional objectives have been carry out: Design of a device capable of rising and to descend the marker that is utilized by the robot to paint, and can be controlled from the computer Design of a utility that allows user choosing the speed of data transfer to the control Interface has been designed attending to the characteristics of the public to which is directed, this is, people with scarce technical know-how that can find interesting a simple application that controls a robot. The characteristics that should have the interface are: functionality, reliability and simplicity of use. GUIDE Matlab's application has been used for programming the interface. The interface doesn't control directly the robot, simply manage the Simulink models that controlled the robot originally. These models make use of the connected data acquisition card to the elements of measure and action of the robot, so that the computer can receive and to store the data desired. The interface controls these models by means of commands of Matlab, so that the user with a single click can open, to compile and to start a model, after to have introduced new values in his components.

5 5 Robotic Arm Interface It has been an important part of the project to see that velocity of entrance of the data of reference the robot was capable of continuing them correctly. Evidently, if the speed with which the data are sent to the control is too high, this can cause a loss of precision, since the robot cannot reach a data of the reference before be sent him the following one.

6 6 Another one contribute fact has been the design, making and installation of a device that allows to marker that carries adapted the robot in its extreme, to rise and to descend, by means of sent signals from the data acquisition card, that receives orders through Simulink.
