5 PROYECTO RITECA/ RITECA PROJECT OBJETIVO GENERAL/ GENERAL OBJECTIVE CREAR UN MARCO DE COLABORACIÓN ENTRE INSTITUCIONES DE EXTREMADURA Y DE LAS REGIONES CENTRO Y ALENTEJO DE PORTUGAL EN EL ÁMBITO DE LA INVESTIGACIÓN, EL DESARROLLO TECNOLÓGICO Y LA INNOVACIÓN QUE FACILITE Y ACELERE EL ACERCAMIENTO DE ESTAS REGIONES AL CUMPLIMIENTO DE LOS OBJETIVOS DE LISBOA DE LA UNIÓN EUROPEA. CREATING AND FOSTERING A COLLABORATION FRAMEWORK BETWEEN INSTITUTIONS OF EXTREMADURA, CENTRO AND ALENTEJO REGIONS IN PORTUGAL IN THE FIELDS OF RESEARCH, TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION TO FACILITATE AND ACCELERATE THE APPROACH OF THESE REGIONS TO THE LISBON GOALS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION. 5

6 PROYECTO RITECA/ RITECA PROJECT OBJETIVOS ESPECÍFICOS/ SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES Designing and developing a Technology Platform ( to disseminate electronic communication and information. Cataloguing Technological Centres, Universities, Researchers and scientific infrastructures. Organising Meetings and Conferences in cross-border issues aimed at participating in European calls on topics of interest for the three regions (Integrated Actions, COST Action). Developing and implementing innovation joint projects in strategic thematic areas of both countries as: Valuation and conservation of the most representative ecosystem of the southwest of the Iberian Peninsula efficiency and optimisation in the use of water for irrigation conservation and recovery of genetics resources food technology and health building materials 6

7 PROYECTO RITECA/ RITECA PROJECT OBJETIVO ESPECÍFICOS/ SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES Strengthen the system of research, development and innovation between technology centres and companies. Becoming research groups in the three regions stronger and more competitive regarding European calls, to which they can attend jointly. Improving mobility among researchers from all centres. Involvement of new institutions and topics to strengthen the Network: development and use of ICT tools to connect actors involved in R&D. renewable energy. new technologies. 7

8 PROYECTO RITECA/ RITECA PROJECT OBJETIVO ESPECÍFICOS/ SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES This ensures that all technology centres of the three regions are in the network, in order to meet the objectives proposed in both the Operative Programme and in those of EUROACE. It is planned the integration of all these institutions in an interregional entity to provide sustainability to the links already established, for which in the second phase of RITECA it is planned to carry out the pertinent legal study, to ensure the continuity of the network beyond

17 ACCIONES DESARROLLADAS/ ACTIONS DEVELOPED Los catálogos de Ciencia y Tecnología del portal reúnen los datos de descripción y contacto de agentes de los distintos sistemas de ciencia, tecnología e innovación, con sus respectivos participantes y sus recursos materiales y tecnológicos. The catalogues of Science and Technology gather description and contact data of the different systems of science, technology and innovation with their participants and their material and technological resources. OBJETIVO/ OBJECTIVE CATÁLOGOS DE CIENCIA Y TECNOLOGÍA/ CATALOGUES OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Compartir y proporcionar a los investigadores y tecnólogos información sobre entidades, personal, actividades y equipos de manera fácil y rápida. Sharing and providing to researchers and technologists easy and quick information on organizations, personnel, activities and equipment. 17

18 CATÁLOGOS DE CIENCIA Y TECNOLOGÍA/ CATALOGUES OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY 1. CENTROS TECNOLÓGICOS Y UNIVERSIDADES Contiene información sobre 1000 centros tecnológicos ubicados en Europa, Norteamérica, Latinoamérica, Asia y Oceanía pertenecientes a todos los sectores relacionados con la actividad científica. 1. TECHNOLOGY CENTRES AND UNIVERSITIES It contains over 1000 technology centres in Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia and Oceania from all the sectors related to scientific activity. 2. CLUSTERS Contiene datos sobre asociaciones de empresas de todos los países y sectores. Cuenta con datos de los clusters de todas las Comunidades españolas y asociaciones de otros países. 2. CLUSTERS It contains data on business associations of all countries and sectors. Clusters of all Spanish regions and associations of other countries are included. 18

LABORATORIOS Y EQUIPOS TECNOLÓGICOS En este apartado hay 250 equipos y laboratorios pertenecientes a los Centros y Universidades que participan en el proyecto. 3. LABORATORIES AND TECHNOLOGICAL EQUIPMENT In this section there are 250 equipments and laboratories belonging to the centres and universities involved in the project. 4. INVESTIGADORES Actualmente hay datos profesionales de mas de trescientos investigadores y tecnólogos que participan en los distintos proyectos. 4. RESEARCHERS Currently there are over three hundred researchers and technologists engaged in different projects. 19

El portal RITECA también ofrece información actualizada sobre noticias, convocatorias y eventos relacionados con el mundo de la ciencia y la tecnología.
