3 Expressing Obligation: HAVE TO To say that someone has to, for a chore or any activity, follow this pattern: subject + TENER + que + VERB that has to be done (in the infinitive don t conjugate it!)
4 Expressing Obligation: HAVE TO EXAMPLES: I have to clean my room. Yo tengo que arreglar mi cuarto. She has to clear off the table. Ella tiene que quitar la mesa.
5 Expressing Obligation: HAVE TO EXAMPLES: You have to mow the lawn! Tú tienes que cortar el césped!
6 The Spanish verb SHOULD is a little different. Here are ALL its forms: DEBER = should yo debo nosotros nosotras debemos tú debes vosotros debéis él/ella Usted debe ellos/ellas ustedes deben
7 Expressing Obligation: SHOULD To say that someone should, for a chore or any activity, follow this pattern: DEBER subject + + VERB that should be done (in the infinitive don t conjugate it!)
