INSTITUCIÓN EDUCATIVA: Antonio Nariño ASIGNATURA: INGLES GRADO: 9-D INTENSIDAD HORARIA SEMANAL: 7 FECHA DE CLASE: DE MARZO I.MODULE 1 I. TITULO DE LA UNIDAD: Friends and school life. II.TEMA: What kind of friend are you? A comic view of my friends WH questions and Yes/No questions. Making my comic III.STANDARS Identifico ideas generales y especificas en textos orales, si tengo conocimiento del tema y del vocabulario utilizado Utilizo mi conocimiento general del mundo para comprender lo que escucho Reconozco el propósito de una descripción en textos narrativos de mediana extensión. Hago descripciones sencillas sobre diversos asuntos cotidianos de mi entorno Entiendo lo que me dicen el profesor y mis compañeros en interacciones cotidianas dentro del aula, sin necesidad de repetición. IV. COMPETENCE: linguistic and pragmatic and sociolinguistic V. AIM INDICATOR: Recognize and use the different adjectives to describe people and things. Use WH questions to ask for specific information in short conversations. Express and show knowledge about general topics.

METHODOLOGIC ACTIVITIES Standar: Identifico ideas generales y especificas en textos orales, si tengo conocimiento del tema y del vocabulario utilizado Aim indicator: Recognize and use the different adjectives to describe people and things. Performance indicator: The students would be able to identify descriptive adjectives and feelings taking into account the people around them OPENING Presentation: the class would start with teacher and students introduction for that the students would be organized in a circle and each student would say their name and what they like, the second one would say what the first one likes and her/his name and so on. DEVELOPMENT Breaking the ice: the Teacher would ask each student to express with a sentence written on the board an adjective of other student in the classroom trying to diagnose the students relationship and their level of knowledge about the topic. The teacher would play a song and they would have to complete the blanks with nouns, adjectives, verbs and answer some questions, this activity can be done al together, and at the end would collect the paper and check their interest about this activity CLOSURE The Teacher would assign a Reading activity, and would check students level to understand it and answer questions using WH questions and yes/no questions about the topic.

EVALUACIÓN - The Teacher would assess the students in an informal way, the Teacher would not grade any of the activities during the class but he would check the students level in each one of the concerns topics. The teacher would create a comfortable environment to learn where the students would not feel evaluated but would enjoy the activities. The teacher would take into account students participation and attention during the reading activity, and would give feedback to the students if it is necessary. IX. METHODOLOGIC ACTIVITIES Standar: Utilizo mi conocimiento general del mundo para comprender lo que escucho Aim indicator: Use WH questions to ask for specific information in short conversations. Performance indicator: The students would be able to use and put into practice WH questions OPENING Warm-up: the class would start with a review of the WH questions and would ask personal questions to one student, that student has to ask a question to other one. DEVELOPMENT Explaining WH uses: the Teacher would explain the use of each one of the WH questions and would make emphasis in each one of them. Identifying mistakes: the teacher would write some questions and answers on the board to make students participate on the topic and check if they understood the last explanation. CLOSURE The teacher would play a listening activity where they have to answer some questions using WH questions and Yes/no questions where they have to find out main ideas, topic, characters, and so on(page 35) Dictation of sentences: the teacher would dictate some sentences using WH questions and Yes/no Questions and they have to handle and answer those questions.

METHODOLOGIC ACTIVITIES Standar: Utilizo mi conocimiento general del mundo para comprender lo que escucho Aim indicator: Use WH questions to ask for specific information in short conversations. Performance indicator: The students would be able to use and put into practice WH questions OPENING Presentation: the class would start with movie where the students would have to pay attention to all the details due to the teacher would take into account the students participation. DEVELOPMENT During the movie: the teacher would ask students some questions about the characters of the movie using WH questions and if they answer good they would receive a candy and a positive point CLOSURE The students would write on a paper 5 questions using WH questions and 5 using yes/no questions and would have to look for a partner ask them and answer their partner s questions.

8 Friday (1 hour) VI. METHODOLOGIC ACTIVITIES Standar: Entiendo lo que me dicen el profesor y mis compañeros en interacciones cotidianas dentro del aula, sin necesidad de repetición. Aim indicator: Use WH questions to ask for specific information in short conversations. Performance indicator: The students would be able to use and put into practice WH questions OPENING Warm-up: the class would start with a game (piri-piri-pon) where the students would have to construct some questions related to the movie and would have to answer it in less than one minute. DEVELOPMENT Solving some exercises: the teacher would assign some activities in the book (page 36) related to the topic studied. CLOSURE The students would work in pairs, one of them would describe something or someone using adjectives and answering questions. The students would solve the students questions made the last class in that way they would be evaluated and grated (they would not answer their own papers, theirs would be given to another partner). Homework: make groups of five and took some photos with which you can create a comic, also bring: -glue scissors cardboards markers and -tape
