2 ESPAÑOL SEGURIDAD Las cuchillas están afiladas; manéjelas con cuidado. Cuando manipule o limpie la cuchilla, sujétela por la parte superior, lejos del filo cortante. No conecte el aparato a la toma de alimentación antes de que esté completamente ensamblado. Desenchúfelo siempre antes de desmontar los componentes y cuando manipule la cuchillas. Retire la cuchilla antes de vaciar la fuente. Nunca use un componente no autorizado. No deje que los niños jueguen en las proximidades del aparato. No utilice el aparato si está dañado. Llévelo a un servicio de reparación (véase Servicio ). No deje que la unidad del motor, el cable o el enchufe se mojen. Evite que el cable cuelgue sobre el borde de una mesa o encimera, así como que entre en contacto con superficies calientes. No haga un uso inapropiado de la picadora de comida y utilícela sólo para uso doméstico. No utilice el aparato si éste, el cable o el enchufe presentan algún daño visible. Compruebe el estado de estos elementos periódicamente. Este aparato no está diseñado para ser empleado por niños o personas discapacitadas sin supervisión. Nunca deje el aparato desatendido. IMPORTANTE No utilice el aparato de forma continuada durante más de 10 segundos. Transcurrido dicho tiempo, deje que se enfríe durante 1 minuto antes de volver a ponerlo en funcionamiento. No ponga en funcionamiento el aparato con la fuente vacía. No ponga en funcionamiento el aparato con la fuente llena de líquido. -1-

3 Antes de conectar el aparato Compruebe que el voltaje del suministro eléctrico es equivalente al indicado en la parte inferior de la unidad del motor. Antes del primer uso Retire todo el embalaje, incluida la cubierta de plástico de la cuchilla. Dado que su función es proteger la cuchilla durante la fabricación y transporte de la misma, puede deshacerse de dicha cubierta. Limpie los componentes (véase Limpieza ). MODO DE EMPLEO - Coloque la esterilla antideslizante en la superficie de trabajo, con el borde hacia arriba. - Coloque el recipiente en el centro de la esterilla antideslizante. - Inserte la cuchilla en la ranura de la fuente. - Introduzca los alimentos - Corte los alimentos en pedazos de 1-2 cm. (1/2-3/4 pulgadas). - No pique alimentos duros, tales como granos de café, cubitos de hielo, especias o chocolate, o la cuchilla podría resultar dañada. - Coloque el dispositivo antisalpicaduras. Asegúrese de que las ranuras de éste encajan en las asas del borde de la fuente. - La cuchilla superior no se activará a menos que el dispositivo antisalpicaduras esté en su sitio. - Coloque la unidad del motor. - La unidad del motor sólo encaja correctamente en dos posiciones. - Conecte el aparato y pulse la unidad del motor brevemente y repetidas veces, evitando así que los alimentos excedan el nivel de picado deseado. - Si el aparato sufre una sobrecarga, retire parte de la mezcla y continúe procesando los alimentos en varias tandas. - Detenga el aparato y retire los restos si es necesario. - No utilice el aparato de forma continuada durante más de 10 segundos. Transcurrido dicho tiempo, deje que se enfríe durante 1 minuto antes de volver a utilizarlo. - Cuando termine de usarlo, desenchúfelo y desmóntelo. -2-

Esto no dañará el plástico ni afectará al sabor de los alimentos. Unidad del motor y esterilla antideslizamiento Límpielas con un trapo húmedo y, a continuación, séquelas. Otros componentes Lávelos a mano y séquelos bien. Lávelos en la bandeja superior del lavavajillas. El exterior del aparato puede limpiarse con un paño húmedo. Si quiere, puede añadirle un poco de jabón suave. Nunca sumerja el aparato en agua. ALMACENAJE Ensamble la picadora y enrolle el cable alrededor de la unidad del motor. ATENCION AL CLIENTE Y ASISTENCIA TECNICA Para dar cumplimiento a la Norma UNE EN-60335, indicamos que si el cable flexible se daña, únicamente puede ser sustituido por un taller de reparación reconocido por el fabricante NEVIR, S.A., ya que se necesitan herramientas especiales -3-

5 ENGLISH SAFETY The blades are sharp, handle with care. Hold the Knife blade at the top away from the cutting edge, both when handling and cleaning. Do not plug the appliance into the power supply unit before it is fully assembled and always unplug before unassembling the appliances or handling the Knife blade. Remove the Knife blade before emptying the bowl. Never use an unauthorized attachment. Don t let children play with this appliance. Never use a damaged appliance. Get it checked or repaired. Never let the power unit, cord or plug get wet. Don t let excess cord hang over the edge of a table or workshop or touch hot surface. Never misuse your food chopper and only use it for its intended domestic use. Do not use if there is any visible damage to the appliance, cord or plug: check them regularly. The appliance is not intended for use by young children or incapable persons without supervision. Never leave the appliance unattended. IMPORTANT Do not run the chopper continuously for longer than 10 seconds. Leave to cool-off for 1 minute before the second operation. Do not operate the chopper if the bowl is empty. Never operate the chopper with the bowl filled with liquid Before plugging in Make sure your electricity supply is the same as the one shown on the underside of the power unit. Before using for the first time Remove all packaging including the plastic blade covers from the Knife blade. These covers should be discarded as they are to protect the blade during manufacture and transport only. -4-

6 USE THE FOOD CHOPPER - Place the non slip mat onto the work-surface, rib upside down. - Position the bowl onto the middle of the non slip mat. - Fit the Knife blade over the pin in the bowl. - Add your food.. - Cut large pieced of food into 1-2 cm (1/2-3/4 in pieces). - Don t chop hard foods such as coffee beans, ice cubes, spices or chocolate-you ll damage the blade. Fit the splashguard. Make sure the slots in the splashguard fit over the handles in the rim of the bowl. - The super chopper will not operate unless the splashguard in fitted in the right position. - Fit the power unit. - The power unit will only fit correctly in two positions. - Plug in. press down on the power unit for short lengths of time to produce a pulsing action-this will avoid over processing the ingredients. - If the appliance is overloaded, remove some of the mixture and continue processing in several batches. - Stop the appliance and scrape down if necessary. - Do not run the chopper continuously for longer than 10 seconds. Leave to cool for 1 minute in between each 10 seconds operation. - After use. Unplug and dismantle. CLEANING Always switch off and unplug before cleaning. Handle the cutting blade with care as they are extremely sharp. Some food will discolor. It won t harm the plastic or affect the flavor of your food. Power unit and non slip mat Wipe with a damp cloth, and then dry. Other parts Wash by hand, then dry the thoroughly. Or wish on the top rack or your dishwasher. -5-

7 STORAGE Assemble the super chopper and wrap the cord around the power.
