2 > PRESENTACIÓN PESI, Plataforma Tecnológica Española de Seguridad Industrial, junto con su homónima europea ETPIS (Cross ETP Initiative on Industrial Safety), celebran el próximo mes de septiembre el Foro Europeo S²R, Future Safety & Security Research in Europe 2014, para dotar de la máxima visibilidad a la innovación y el desarrollo tecnológico europeo en la Seguridad de la Industria, a las estrategias y apoyos a la I+D+i por parte de la Comisión Europea en este campo, así como a las empresas y organismos de investigación más activos e innovadores. Bajo el slogan Innovación y Tecnología para la Seguridad, sus organizadores aprovechan el evento itinerante, que se viene realizando en distintas ciudades europeas, para que Bilbao (España) sea la sede en 2014 y convocar, además del habitual colectivo europeo, a todo el sector de la I+D+i española, convirtiéndose en un punto de encuentro fundamental. Desde S²R se realiza una acción directa de apoyo a las organizaciones españolas para que consoliden su liderazgo en el ámbito de la seguridad a nivel europeo, a través de todas sus iniciativas comprometidas con la seguridad industrial. > PRESENTATIÓN In September 2014 PESI, the Spanish Technology Platform for Industrial Safety, along with its European counterpart ETPIS (the Cross-ETP Initiative on Industrial Safety) will hold the European Forum S2R, "Future Safety & Security Research in Europe 2014" in order to highlight and publicize European technological development and innovation in Industrial Safety, the strategies and support given by the European Commission to R+D in this field, as well as the most active and innovative research centers and companies. Under the slogan 'Innovation and Technology for Safety' this European-wide traveling event will stop in Bilbao as the host in 2014, the organizers will bring together the usual European Group with the entire Spanish R+D sector for a major meeting. Direct action taken at S2R for supporting Spanish organizations will help to strengthen their leadership in safety issues at European level thanks to the numerous initiatives being undertaken on industrial safety.
