21 PUBLIC SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT! MLK Jr. Middle School is the only Madera middle school with 1 lunch! It is a privilege to have 1 lunch. It allows 7th & 8th graders time to socialize together. We also have Friday lunchtime activities, Club meetings, and Staff vs. Student competitions during this time. In order to keep this 1-lunch period system, it is IMPERATIVE that all students understand that we have adopted a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for fighting at school. Students who engage in fights on campus will serve 45 days in lunchtime detention & they force us to consider 2 separate lunch hours. If you know of any situation where students are at risk of engaging in a fight, please tell an adult (Administrator, Counselor, Security, teacher, librarian, your parent to call in, etc.). Your identity will remain confidential. We want you to feel safe at school and be proud to be a Jaguar!

22 ANUNCIO PÚBLICO PARA SU SEGURIDAD! MLK Jr. es la única escuela intermedia en Madera con un solo horario de almuerzo! Es un privilegio tener un solo periodo de almuerzo. Esto les da la oportunidad de convivir a los estudiantes del séptimo y octavo grado. También tenemos actividades durante el horario del almuerzo, juntas de clubs, y competencias entre estudiantes y maestros. Para mantener el mismo horario de almuerzo, es IMPERATIVO que todos los estudiantes entiendan que hemos adoptado una póliza de ZERO TOLERANCIA a las peleas en la escuela. Los estudiantes que se pelean en la escuela tendrán 45 días de detención durante el periodo de almuerzo y nos forzaran a considerar 2 horarios separados de almuerzo. Si tienen información sobre cualquier riesgo de que estudiantes se peleen, por favor de avisar a un adulto (Administrador, Consejero, Seguridad, Maestro, o a los padres para que llamen a la escuela, etc.). Su identidad será confidencial. Queremos que se sientan seguros en la escuela y ser orgullosos de ser un Jaguar!
