2 UNA CARRERA DE REFERENCIA Bienvenido! La The North Face Transgrancanaria llega a su 16ª edición y lo hace en el mejor momento de su historia. En 2014 alcanzamos el mayor número de inscritos y de nacionalidades desde que iniciamos esta aventura, y para 2015 queremos igualar esta hazaña. Por eso, esperamos que puedas disfrutar de una de las mejores carreras del mundo en una isla que siempre acoge a los amantes de este deporte con los brazos abiertos. LAS INSCRIPCIONES ESTÁN EN MARCHA! Desde el 25 de agosto puedes reservar ya tu plaza para cualquiera de las cinco modalidades que ofrecemos. A través de puedes completar todo el proceso de registro, y así asegurar tu plaza para que en marzo disfrutes de la prueba sin ningún tipo de problema. Como es habitual, las inscripciones permanecerán abiertas hasta que se agoten las plazas disponibles, por lo que te recomendamos que te inscribas cuanto antes. Además, los corredores que se apunten antes del 18 de diciembre disfrutarán de un descuento, todo son ventajas si te apuntas hoy mismo! UN RECORRIDO CONSOLIDADO Después de la gran acogida que tuvo el nuevo trazado de la Transgrancanaria en 2014, todas las carreras que integran la prueba repetirán el recorrido, con final en el emblemático punto del sur de la isla como es Maspalomas. Así, los participantes de la carrera podrán practicar su deporte favorito atravesando paisajes con tanto encanto como Agaete, Tirma, Tamadaba, Teror, el Pico de las Nieves, Roque Nublo, Tunte o Arteara, alcanzando los metros de alitud en su punto máximo. Así, las distintas modalidades serán las siguientes: TRANSGRANCANARIA: 125 kilómetros. Agaete Maspalomas desnivel positivo. ADVANCED: 83 kilómetros. Fontanales Maspalomas desnivel positivo. MARATÓN: 44 kilómetros. Garañón Maspalomas desnivel positivo. STARTER: 32 kilómetros. Tunte Maspalomas desnivel positivo. PROMO: 17 kilómetros. Arteara Maspalomas desnivel positivo.

VUELVE A FORMAR PARTE DEL UTWT Un año más, la carrera de 125 kilómetros está integrada dentro del Ultra Trail World Tour, el circuito mundial más importante de carreras por montaña, por lo que el cartel de corredores volverá a ser de primer nivel. Además, dentro del UTWT, la Trans será, junto a otras tres carreras, categoría Series, por lo que tendrá un mayor coeficiente de cara a la puntuación final del circuito. PUNTO DE PARTIDA DE LA SPAIN ULTRA CUP La modalidad Advanced, de 83 kilómetros, dará a su vez el pistoletazo de salida a la Spain Ultra Cup, un circuito que en su segunda edición reunirá a las carreras nacionales más relevantes.

In 2014, we had the highest amount of registrations since we started this adventure, and we are in our way to repeat this great feet. This is why we hope you enjoy one of the planet's best races in an island that embraces runners from all around the World. REGISTRATIONS ARE ALREADY OPENED! Since August 25th, runners are able to book their registrations through for any of the 5 distances we offer. Through you can fill your applications and the registration process, and make sure you come to Gran Canaria and enjoy your race without any problem. As usual, the registrations will be available until the races are full, so our advice is that you register as soon as possibe. We have also a discount for the runners who register before December 18th, so there are all advantages if you register today! AN ESTABLISHED ROUTE After the great reception that the new route had in the 2014 Transgrancanaria, the five distances will repeat the same itinerary with the finish lane in Maspalomas, one of the most famous locations in the islan. Therefore, runners will practice their favorite sport in wonderful places like Agaete, Tirma, Tamadaba, Teror, Pico de las Nieves, Roque Nublo, Tunte or Arteara, climbing 1,900 metres in the island's highest peak. IT WILL BE AGAIN PART OF THE UTWT Once again, the 125 kilometres race will be part of the Ultra Trail World Tour, the World's most important trail running circuit. This is why we expect that elite runners from the fice continents will land in the island. The Transgrancanaria will have the Series category, being one of the four races with the highest coefficient in the tour. STARTING POINT OF THE SPAIN ULTRA CUP The Advanced distance, of 83 kilometres, will be the starting point of the Spain Ultra Cup, the tour that includes thes best races in the national territory, so the best Spanish runners will also be present in Gran Canaria.
