It is VERY important that all of our students are at school on time during testing. Thank you for your help with this! Parkview 5k Color Run The Parkview staff and students will be participating in the 1 st Annual Parkview 5k Color Run for this year s spring fundraiser. Instead of purchasing candy, food, or other items out of a catalogue, we will be raising money by hosting a 5k Color Run for the entire community. Entry fees will be $30 a person, and will include a shirt, color powder, and backpack. When: April 30th Registration: February 26 th -March 22 nd Cost: $30 Where: Hillcrest City Park March is Music in our Schools month! Kindergarten Registration March 11 th Please join us on Friday March 11 th for Kindergarten registration. You will need a copy of your child s birth certificate, shot records, and proof of residency. Carpenter Corner March is a very important month for all of us at Parkview.

2 Morning Drop Off Do NOT drop your child off in front of the building in the mornings! All students must be dropped off on 13th street until 8:00am. Do not pull into parking spaces and let your children out. This is DANGEROUS!! Read Across America Day On Friday, March 4th, Parkview will be celebrating Read Across America Day! We have many community members that will be visiting us and reading to our students. If you are getting out, and coming into the building, then you may park. Otherwise, you MUST drop off on 13th street. Our main job is to keep students safe. Please be respectful of the staff at Parkview. We are trying very hard to keep all students safe. The PAC Update (Parent Advisory Committee) th On Monday, March 7 we will be having our monthly Parent Advisory Committee Meeting at 3:30pm in the PV Library. During this meeting, we will be beginning planning our Spring Carnival and to making arrangements for Teacher Appreciation Week in May. PLEASE join us ~ WE NEED YOU!!! March 25th- April 3rd Spring Break! Yearbooks for Sale $20 each Stop by the front office to order yours today! Carpenter Corner March is a very important month for all of us at Parkview. This month we get to show everyone in town how smart we are, and how hard we have been working this year. The state assessment for 4th grade Science is from the 8th-10th The 3rd 9 weeks is coming to an end, and it is hard to believe that we are in the last quarter of the school year. There are many opportunities for you to get involved in the end of the year activities. If you would like to help, please stop by the office. La Carrera 5k de Color para Parkiew El equipo de Parkview y los estudiantes participaran en La 1er Carrera de Color para la recaudación de fondos de primavera. En ves de comprar dulces, comida, u otras cosas de un catalogo, estaremos recaudando fondos por medio de La Carrera 5k de Color para toda la comunidad. El costo será $30 por persona, e incluirá una camiseta, color en polvo, y una mochila. Cuando: 30 de Abril Registración: 26 de Febrero al 22 de Marzo Costo: $30 Donde: Parque Hillcrest Registración para Kinder 11 de Marzo Se le invita e Viernes 11 de Marzo para la registración de Kinder. Tendremos varios miembros de la comunidad que nos estaran visitando y Si usted se va a bajar, y va a entrar a la escuela, entonces si se puede estacionar. De otra manera usted DEBE dejarlos en la calle 13. Nuestro trabajo principal es mantener a nuestros estudiantes sanos y salvos. Por favor respete nuestro personal de Parkview. El Departamento de La Policía de Clovis estará a la mano en este asunto. La Actualización de PAC (Comité Asesor de Padres) El Lunes 7 de Marzo tendremos nuestra reunión mensual del Comité Asesor de Padres a las 3:30pm en la Biblioteca Parkview. Durante esta reunión, planearemos nuestro Carnaval de Primavera y haciendo arreglos para La Semana de Aprecio a los Maestros en Mayo. La Esquina de Carpenter Marzo es un mes muy importante para todos nosotros en Parkview. Este mes podremos demostrar a todos en la ciudad lo inteligente que somos, y lo duro que hemos estado trabajando este año. La evaluación del estado para 4to Grado en Ciencia es del 8 al 10 Las 3er 9 semanas esta llegando a su fin, y es dificil

5 creer que ya estamos a casi el final escolar. Hay varias oportunidades para que usted se envuelva en as actividades que se llevaran acabo al finalizar la escuela.
