The Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, formerly known as the Feast of Our Lady of Victory and Feast of the Holy Rosary, is a feast day of the Roman Catholic Church, celebrated on 7 October, the anniversary of the decisive victory of the combined fleet of the Holy League of 1571 over the Ottoman navy at the Battle of Lepanto. Beyond the myth of the bathing suit rule In the past, child abuse prevention programs focused on teaching children and young people that their private body parts are those parts of the body covered by a bathing suit. Teaching the concept of total body safety has become the latest practice. It is important for children to understand that their entire body is private. Parents should be watchful of adults who might be grooming a child by constantly tickling, kissing or hugging them. It is important to listen to a child and respect their wishes if they do not want to hug or kiss someone.
