Serial Numbers: Date code range: F044 to F228 Concern: User Interface is too sensitive. This is not a mandatory update. Replace only if the user interface (UI) has malfunctioned or the consumer is complaining that the UI is too sensitive. For example, the customer inadvertently starts or stops a cycle by brushing against the UI. Cause: The Capacitive Touch UI is always on during cycle operation. If the consumer leans or brushes-up against the UI, the accidental contact could start a cycle, or cancel a running cycle if the Control Lock feature was not activated. Correction: A new Service Capacitive Touch UI has been released that will go into sleep mode after 30 seconds of no use at which time no button presses are recognized except start/resume and cancel/drain (now press & hold). NOTE: Original service P/N will automatically sub to new service P/N. How does UI Sensitivity affect the consumer? (Inform consumer of changes.) UI will enter sleep mode after 30 seconds of use Wake-up sleep mode by opening and closing the door Wake-up sleep mode by touching the start/resume key Cancel/drain is now press and hold How does UI Sensitivity affect service diagnostics? Remplacer uniquement si l interface utilisateur fonctionne mal ou si le client se plaint de la sensibilité de l interface. Par exemple, le client lance ou arrête un programme accidentellement en effleurant l interface utilisateur. Cause : L interface utilisateur tactile capacitive est toujours «active» lorsqu un programme est en cours. Si le client se penche contre l interface utilisateur ou l effleure, ce contact accidentel peut démarrer un programme ou annuler un programme en cours si la fonction de verrouillage des commandes n est pas activée. Correction : Une nouvelle interface tactile capacitive a été mise au point à des fins de service, qui passe au mode de veille après 30 secondes d inactivité ; passé ce délai, aucun bouton n est actif, sauf start/resume (mise en marche/reprise) et cancel/drain (annulation/vidange), désormais à maintenir enfoncé. REMARQUE : La référence de service d origine sera automatiquement remplacée par la nouvelle. Reemplace solamente si la interfaz del usuario (IU) ha fallado o si el consumidor se ha quejado de que la IU es muy sensible. Por ejemplo, al rozar la IU, el consumidor enciende o detiene un ciclo sin darse cuenta. Causa: La IU de toque capacitivo siempre está encendida durante la operación del ciclo. Si el consumidor se recarga sobre la IU o la roza, el contacto accidental puede poner en marcha un ciclo, o bien cancelar un ciclo en funcionamiento, si la característica de Control Lock (Bloqueo de control) no se ha activado. Corrección: Una nueva IU de toque capacitivo de servicio se encuentra disponible. Este entrará a modo de dormir después de 30 segundos de no funcionar. En este momento, no funcionarán los botones al presionarlos, con excepción de los botones start/resume (inicio/reanudar) y cancel/drain (anular/drenar) (ahora press & hold [presionar y sostener]). NOTA: El número de pieza de servicio original se sustituirá automáticamente con el nuevo número de pieza de servicio.
