The following is to provide you with Cairo s attendance rates for the month of January: Cairo (as an entire school): 94.42% Kinder: 92.04% 1st Grade: 93.92% 2nd Grade: 96.58% 3rd Grade: 94.69% 4th Grade: 95.10% 5th Grade: 93.74% After each quarter, students with perfect attendance will be recognized. Perfect attendance consists of being at school everyday, all day, with no tardies and no early check-outs. Young People s Concert Cairo students grades 1st through 5th will have the opportunity to attend the Young People s Concert on February 28th at the Four Rivers Cultural Center. We will be asking if each student could bring in $1. More details will come home soon. February s Character Trait This month s character trait is: Honesty Teachers will be on the lookout for the most honest students throughout the month of February.
