1 Dear Mister Presidents: National Weightlifting Federations of Pan America Dear Friends, By kindly assignment of the Pan American Federation of our sport we are honored to invite you to participate in the Junior Pan American Championships 07, event will be held in Guayaquil Ecuador from May st to 8 th this year. This event represents for our country a big challenge in the organizational aspect so we hope to provide all the arrival delegations in Guayaquil with an unforgettable competition as well as to be a worthy host, hospitable and proud of welcoming you in our land the Pearl of the Pacific. 2 JUNIOR PAN AMERICAN WEIGHTLIFTING CHAMPIONSHIPS 07 Guayaquil Ecuador REGULATIONS. GENERAL CONDITIONS: The competitions will be held in accordance with the IWF Constitution and By-Laws and IWF Technical and Competition Rules and Regulations and will be under the control of the Pan American Federation. Participants must be born between 997 and 00.. PLACE AND DATE Competitions will take place in the Coliseo Voltaire Paladines Polo de la Federación Deportiva del Guayas in Guayaquil. From 0 to 08 May 07. Arrival of the delegation: 0 May 07. Departure of the delegations: 08 May 07.. Elegibility: Only competitors of National Weightlifting Federations / Associations affiliated to the PAWF are eligible to participate in the Pan American Championships.. Events: The bodyweight categories will be as established by the IWF, according to the bodyweight: Women: 8, 5, 58, 6, 69, 75, 90 and plus 90 Kgs. Men: 56, 6, 69, 77, 85, 9, 05 and plu 05 Kgs. 5. Entries: Preliminary entries must be sent before st March, 07. Final entries must be sent before st April, Finantial Conditions: Double or triple room, US$ per day/ person. Single room US$0.00 per day / person. Minimum stay nights Accommodation: Hotel Unipark. 3 7. Entry Fee: Athletes US$ 5.00 (includes anti-doping fee) Officials US$ Accreditations: The accreditations will take place upon arrival. The delegations must show their passports for accreditation. 9. Barbell: IWF approved ELEIKO barbells will be used in competitions and training. 0. Final Verification: Will take place on Monday May at 5:00 hours in the host hotel. Technical Officials meeting: Will take place on Monday May at 7:00 hours in the host hotel. Doping Control: Will be conducted in accordance with the IWF Anti-Doping Policy.. Awards: Snatch, Clean & Jerk and Total will be awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals for the first, second and third place respectively. A trophy will be awarded for the best team in Men and Women A trophy will be awarded for the best lifter in Men and Women. Please bring your National Anthem and Flag which must be delivered during the accreditation process.. Technical Officials: Will be appointed by the PAWF, which will be exempt of payment of accommodation, food and local transportation 5. Transportation: The Organizing Committee shall provide transportation for all participants from the airport to the accommodation and facilities for training and competition.
