Registration in the Guidance Department June 25th - June 28, 2018 with Mrs. Indrisano between 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Tuition must be paid at registration in cash or money order made out to "Winthrop High School". PERSONAL CHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Additional summer school program options are available on our website. Odysseyware may be available for 11 th grade students. Please see your guidance counselor for more information.

11 BOSTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS OFFICE OF EXPANDED LEARNING TIME NOTIFICATION OF SUMMER SCHOOL ENROLLMENT Dear Parent or Guardian of: June 2018 Grade: Your child has been assigned to the Summer Session Program provided by Boston Public Schools Office of Expanded Learning Time. Program Description: Summer Session is a 5-week intensive Credit Recovery Program, in which students can take either in-person or online courses to make up credits they need for graduation. Since the program is only 20 days, good attendance is mandatory. The Attendance policy is as follows: - More than 2 absences (excused or unexcused) may result in removal from the course. - Students are considered absent if they arrive more than 15 minutes late for the course. - 3 tardies (1-15 minutes late) equal 1 absence. THERE IS NO BUS TRANSPORTATION, but your child will receive a ½ price bus pass at no cost - he/she will need to load the card with the other ½ prior to use. **Breakfast and lunch will be provided. 12 BOSTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS OFFICE OF EXPANDED LEARNING TIME NOTIFICATION OF SUMMER SCHOOL ENROLLMENT Escuelas Públicas de Boston Oficina de Tiempo de Aprendizaje Extendido Estimado padre/encargado de: junio 2018 Grado: Su hijo/a ha sido matriculado para asistir al Programa de Verano de las Escuelas Públicas de Boston. Descripción del Programa: La sesión de clases de verano es un programa intensivo de 5 semanas para reponer requisitos de graduación. Los estudiantes pueden completar las clases con un maestro o hacerlas en línea. La asistencia es obligatoria ya que el programa solo dura 20 días. Las reglas de asistencia son las siguientes: -Sí tiene más de 2 ausencias (excusadas o no excusadas) puede ser removido del programa. -El estudiante es considerado ausente si llega a la clase 15 minutos tarde. - 3 tardanzas (1-15 minutos tarde) es igual a una ausencia. NO SE PROVEERA TRANSPORTACION ESCOLAR. Los estudiantes recibirán la tarjeta de la transportación pública a mitad de precio. Se proveerá desayuno y almuerzo.
