2 Dear Voter, At the 2013 onsolidated lection held on November 5, three seats for the office of Governing Board Member went up for election. In that election, Darlene Bracken and Nathan ranmer were elected to two seats, and a tie vote for the third seat occurred between Michael Jake Goodman and Greg Seifert. To resolve the tie vote between the two candidates, the Governing Board Members of the Baker Valley Unified School District ordered a Special Runoff lection and asked the lections ffice of the Registrar of Voters to conduct the election on Tuesday, December 17, This mail ballot packet contains the ballot materials for this election. In this packet, you will find the following: Your fficial Ballot Your fficial Postage Paid Return nvelope Mail Ballot Voting and Return Instructions The lections ffice is designated as the central counting place for all ballots cast for this election. The public is invited to observe as the lections ffice conducts the following events: December 17, 2013 The processing and counting of Mail Ballot return envelopes begins at 9 a.m. and is performed until the workload is complete. Unofficial election night results will be posted at 8 p.m. on the lections ffice website at December 18, 2013 The official canvass begins at 8 a.m. and final certified election results will be posted at 4 p.m. Sincerely, Michael J.
