1 From Mrs. Bond Dear Families, As much as we needed the rain, it sure has been a unique experience to see it all! My hope is that soon it gets dry and stays dry outside so that our students can get outside and play again. Also, that it continues to warm up! This week we had our Achievement Afternoons, and I hope you all enjoyed them. Without conferences this quarter, it is so helpful to have this time to work with you as a team to help our innovators reach their goals. Also, wanted to let you know that our kindergarteners, first graders, and second graders are taking their Winter MAP test. If they are coming home saying I grew 20 points!, then you know what they are talking about. Also, you will see we sent a letter home about attendance. We miss our innovators when they are not here and they are not learning as much when they are not here. Thank you for doing all you can to making sure they are here! Enrollment for LAST CALL FOR KINDERGARTEN Do you know anyone who is interested in attending KIPP Iluminar Academy next year? We are opening up over 100 spots for our new Kindergarten class and open enrollment closes Friday, February 10 at 4:30pm. There are only two more weeks to submit an interest form and be eligible for our lottery. Interested families should come to the KIA Office to fill out an interest form as soon as possible.
