1 Premio Miembro Profesional Ejemplar en la Academia Se premiará anualmente al miembro profesional responsable de la promoción, progreso y reconocimiento de las disciplinas profesionales en la academia que forman parte del IEEE. Se consideraran entre otras cosas las actividades pasadas y la capacidad de liderazgo del candidato. PREMIO Placa del IEEE Sección Colombia que lo acredita como Miembro Profesional Ejemplar en la Academia. Nominación por parte de la Sección Colombia al Premio Ingeniero Eminente del IEEE Latinoamérica. Se otorgará un certificado de apreciación a los profesionales nominados, y no obtuvieron el galardón. PRESENTACIÓN El miembro ganador se dará a conocer en la Ceremonia de Premios y Reconocimientos de Sección y allí mismo la Sección hará entrega del premio correspondiente. El nombre del profesional que haya sido premiado será dado a conocer a través del e-notice. REQUISITOS Los candidatos deben ser miembros activos del IEEE con grado igual o superior a SENIOR y demostrar mínimo 10 años de experiencia en la academia. NOMINACIÓN El profesional responsable de la promoción, progreso de las disciplinas profesionales en la academia que forman parte del IEEE y de logros profesionales significativos asociados a dichas disciplinas, puede ser nominado por cualquier miembro activo de la sección. El nominador deberá completar el formulario anexo. Las autonominaciones no son elegibles, no se aceptan nominaciones del comité evaluador. EVALUACIÓN Los profesionales nominados serán evaluados principalmente por el impacto de sus logros en la calidad de las actividades profesionales dentro de la Sección y el IEEE en su conjunto. Si no hay presentación de candidaturas con el impacto esperado, el premio no será entregado durante ese año. El estudio y las conclusiones a que llegue el comité serán secretos e inapelables.
