5 Presente Simple El 6empo presente simple es el 6empo más básico de la luenga inglesa. Se u6liza para expresar la idea de que algo esta ocurriendo en el momento de hablar, una ac6vidad que esta en el progreso o para hablar del un ac6vidad que ocurrirá en en futuro inmediato. Estructura: Sujeto + Verbo (infini6vo sin to ) John plays golf (to play) Juan juega al golf En ingles, es posible u6lizar el 6empo Presente Simple para hablar sobre hechos, acciones habituales, situaciones y también planes en el futuro. Tiger Woods is beger than Rory (Hechos) He plays golf every Sunday (Ru6nas) He lives in Barcelona (Situaciones) The match starts at 5pm (Planes en el futuro) La interrogación y la negación en el Presente Simple Para construir preguntas y la negación se u6liza un verbo auxillar to do La estructura: La estructura: Do + Sujeto + Verbo Do you play golf? Sujeto + Do + NOT + Verbo No, I don t play golf.

6 Presente Con?nuo U6lizamos el Presente Con6nuo para expresar la idea de que algo esta pasando en el momento de hablar. Estructura: Sujeto + SER + Verbo (forma con6nua) John is playing golf Juan esta jugando al golf En Ingles el Presente Con6nuo también expresar ac6vidades que ocurrirán en el futuro. Pero en Español usamos el presente. They are arriving at 2pm llegan a las 2pm En Ingles el Presente Con6nuo también expresar ac6vidades que están en progreso. John is studying to become a lawyer (ongoing progress) La interrogación y la negación en el Presente Con?nuo Para construir preguntas y la negación se u6lice un verbo auxiliar to be Estructura: BE + Sujeto + Verbo (forma con2nuo) Is John re?ring next year? Estructura: Sujeto + BE + NOT + Verbo (forma con6nuo) No, he isn t re?ring next year.

7 SPEAK Presente Perfecto Se u6liza el Presente Perfecto para expresar acciones que ocurrieron en un pasado indefinido. Estructura: Sujeto + Verb AUX (have) + Verbo (forma par6cipo). I have been to Scotland. He estado a Escocia Cuando pones algo que iden6ficar el 6empo como año pasado o martes no u6licemos este 6empo I have been to St Andrews last year. Es posible para usar el 6empo cuando un ac6vidad 6ene influencia o impacto en el presente. I have eaten La interrogación y la negación en el Presente Perfecto Para construir preguntas y la negación la forma cambia. Estructura: Have + Sujeto + Verbo (forma par6cipo). Have you eaten? Estructura: Sujeto + Have + NOT + Verbo (forma par6cipo). I haven't eaten.

8 Presente Perfecto Con?nuo U6lizamos el Presente Perfecto Con6nuo para expresar que algo ha empezado en el pasado y con6nua hasta el presente. Estructura: Sujeto + has / have + been + Verbo (forma con6nuo) I have been living here for 20 years En español la forma es dis6nta y usáis la forma presente con hace Hace 20 años que vivo aquí Podemos usar esa 6empo para hablar de acciones que empezado en el pasado y han acabado terminado. I have been wai?ng for two hours Hace dos horas que espero. La interrogación y la negación en el Presente Perfecto Con?nuo. Para construir preguntas y la negación la forma cambia. Estructura: Have + Sujeto + BEEN + Verbo (forma con6nuo) Have you been wai?ng long? Estructura: Sujeto + Have + NOT + BEEN + Verbo (forma con6nuo) No I haven t been wai?ng long
