1 Task 1 30 Flow map: Cuándo es tu cumpleaños? a) Below we can see all of the birthdays of the people in Maria s family. In the form of a flow map (with January being the earliest birthday and December being the latest birthday), sequence the birthdays in English. If you work on paper, ensure that you glue your map into your ILT exercise book before it is handed in. b) Answer the questions in English in your ILT exercise book. 2 Task 2 30 Las fiestas (Research Task) Research two Spanish or South American festivals/celebrations. Bring in at least one picture for each and 3 facts in English. You will share your research with a partner next lesson.

3 Task 3 30 Grammar: Adjectival agreement and word order a) Complete the gaps with the correct form of the adjective. Write the sentences out in full in your ILT exercise book. b) Write the correct version of the sentences. a) 1. Tengo una tortuga (rojo/roja/rojos/rojas). 2. 4 Task 4 30 Vocabulary test revision Next lesson you will complete a spelling test (you will be given the English and you will be expected to spell the French). 5 Task 5 30 Error correction 1. Write the sentence out in its correct form in Spanish (i.e. how it should be) in your ILT exercise book. (Sentences may contain more than one error) 2. Translate each sentence into English. Example : Original : Estoy muy alto y delgado (*a girl wrote this sentence) Correction : Soy muy alta y delgada 1. Soy bastante alto y muy guapa. (*a boy wrote this sentence) 2. Soy alta y delgada y soy el negro pelo. (*a girl wrote this sentence) 3. Tengo la pelo rubio, largo y ondulada. 4.
