3 Kuapay s Patent Pending EncryptionTechnology Drastically reduces risk of fraud Brief Description The patent is focused on the secure communications between two devices to allow financial information to travel between them. That would be the credit card or bank account information from the mobile device to the point of sale which will charge it. One key per user Each user has a unique key generated with enough entropy to protect his data. This key is used to encrypt all the relevant information before is sent to the server. Instead of storing the keys to protect the data into the servers, we realized that distributing the keys among the devices will make virtually impossible to hack the data from our servers. Even a rogue employee cannot access the customer encrypted data. Storage of encrypted blocks Our servers only store encrypted-by-the-user data that is not accessible by us. Only the user can open these small data vaults. This enables two things: authentication that only the owner of such key can access the information and that the information is safe in any environment.
